This is disappointing for sure, but it really hasn't changed my opinion much of the future. We already knew QB play was going to be an obstacle to winning a national championship. I'd hoped to at least make it to the dance, but it didn't fall out way this time. We have arguably the best high school player in the country coming in with Keelon Russell, and a very good recruiting class coming with him. Last week, everyone was praising DeBoer and saying how great this coaching staff is, and now people are wanting to fire them all. But the thing is, DeBoer is still the same coach he was yesterday, and so are Wommack, Sheridan, and the rest. Nothing has really changed. Tonight, we saw the team done in by what many of us thought was the achilles heel of this team, and that's really all there is to it. DeBoer will right the ship. He just has some work to do in the off-season, but I still fully believe that Kalen DeBoer is the right man for this job.
