Not feeling good about the Iron Bowl at all

I’m supposed to go to the game. I’m also going to the Pike Road vs Saraland game on Friday…. I might use it as an excuse not to go on Saturday.

I think it's well known by now that Auburn starts prepping for Alabama like week 2 of the season. It's their Super Bowl. Look at the absurd talent disparity in 2021 and 2023, games we likely should have lost that came down to overtime or miracle plays.

Then there's the fact that our guys don't have much to play for. If they didn't care enough against OK for a playoff spot, how will they care about Auburn?

Freeze was hired specifically to beat Saban/Alabama, and they seem to be peaking as a team.

Yeah I really, really don't feel good about this.

If you watched our "effort" in Norman, how could you feel good about it? I mean, we got beat down 24-3 by a very average team. They pulled down our pants and spanked our bottoms on national TV.

I have a feeling the only reason the stadium will be rocking is because they will be playing the music so loud. Just another reason I have stopped going to games.

I seriously doubt I'm gonna watch it. That's how bad I feel about it right now. Didn't even feel this bad in 2013 when Auburn had a fantastic team and was white hot, playing at home.

I called up the athletic department at Auburn and told them that we concede. The win is theirs. No need to even play Saturday. There, I just saved everybody a lot of time and saved around a hundred thousand people a trip. You're welcome

If I’m being serious then I would say we probably and should win just because it’s at home and Auburn has already been talking smack. But again we a dealing with very immature 17-22 year olds who seem more focused on individual glory and podcasts. I have a bad feeling about this game but I also have a feeling that we do enough to win.

Lets put this loss behind us and move on we can salvage our season beat Auburn and go play our bowl game and build for next year.

I have no intention of watching Milroe run more than both our backs combined , and ignore or miss most of our receivers when he does throw. Of course I hope we win, and will follow the score…but no pleasure to be had watching it. Either way , I assume JM will not play in a meaningless bowl when he has the draft to prepare for….so i will definitely watch that game.
