Ok, I’ll own my response on either and I’m fine. I had already said before the IB that I just wanted to find a way to beat Auburn! I don’t care what happens after that and anything will just be a bonus, so no reason to backtrack now (albeit the fact we still have a slight shot at the playoff that is the preferred option). I want to make the playoffs, but I would only be upset about missing if it were South Carolina ahead of us. That would set a dangerous precedent. Other than that, I'm good either way.

I agree 100% tusks, but I would rather be in the playoffs just to have something meaningful to look forward too. However, it won't matter. Losing to Vandy and OU will be our undoing.

Not really. We beat some good teams also and Vandy wasn't that bad. Both of those teams had two weeks to prepare for us!

Your argument doesn't hold water. The bottom line is that you believe that if we only go to a bowl game then #4 will opt out and your worries will be free! I hope he stays until the end just to make some of you mad!

Besides, the Gators finished 7-5.

Just going to a bowl game would obviously give us a better chance to finish the season with a win but I voted for the playoff because I feel having a small chance is better than no chance at all.

I do want him gone. Everyone should.

I'm not wishy-washy on my stance and when I say something I mean it.

But besides that part I also genually believe we don't as a team deserve to be in the playoffs.

A team should not be rewarded for what happened in Norman vs OU.

The total lack of preparation and effort was a complete disgrace to the uniform.

If I’m honest I don’t want to see us get embarrassed in a playoff game (see Vandy and Oklahoma games). I assume if we get in we’d have to play on someone else’s field, right?

I have thought all year that not being in a 12 team playoff would mean the year was a failure. But, then we had the very unexpected loss to Vandy. Regardless, being in the playoffs is better than not being in the playoffs. If we're in, at least we have a chance, even if it means playing at Notre Dumb in the winter.

I would think being in the playoffs certainly helps recruitment. That alone makes it worthwhile.
