I won't watch a single second of it. The games will be garbage. I don't enjoy bad footballOh well. I hope everyone enjoys this. My guess this is the only year we see this insanity.
the ratings will be horrible.

Not me . They can all suck an egg. This committee will learn nothing from it. They ranked SMU higher than Clemson for a reason.I don’t normally do this but now I have to pull for the SEC in the playoffs. Maybe not Tennessee because I still my dignity. I hope we obliterate the field and all of the pretenders get crushed in each game they play.
This has been my point all along. There's something about human nature where the more you try to make things "fair" (play God as it were), the more they think they're entitled to. Kind of like government. Not saying we shouldn't legitimately try when we need to but does it actually help us when constantly doing it?I think the 12-team playoff creates more controversy, not less.
I’m not the biggest Milroe supporter , but I don’t dislike him either. But you will have to show physical evidence before I believe a lot of what is said about him. As far as the sidelines, I see him on the IPad sometimes, I don’t know what you mean by disengaged. He’s the worst QB to put that jersey on since before JPW.
About 2.5 of those 3 losses are absolutely his fault.
He has continuously turned the ball over with fumbles and INTs and he shows no real leadership.
He’s prone to emotional outbursts and if not that he sits on the sideline completely disengaged from what’s happening.
He negotiated his QB1 status through the Lank/NIL crap instead of earning it.
And
If that’s not bad enough he’s a Selfish ME guy and all anybody needs to know about him is that non effort tackle attempt on that Pick 6 vs OU
The second he puts out his opt out msg to protect himself for the draft will be the highlight of the last 2 seasons for me.
That’s more of what they SHOULD do. Or atleast stop playing B1G teams in favor of ACC and Big XII teams to put their legitimacy in question. If Alabama really wanted to expose things, they'd do a tour of the Big 12. There are no good football teams left over there but Alabama can go play Kansas, UCF, Texas Tech, and Baylor and then brag about their undefeated Big 12 record.
The committee just said otherwise. Load up with cupcakes, because W/L is all that matters. We should welcome it.
We should be building a team that thrives playing it too.
Otherwise, we shouldn't expect any playoff invitations.
Good. I don't always get it right but I call it like I see it.The committee just named you the one seed in the “National Condescending Tournament.”
well, let's go ahead and swap FSU for Mercer. no need to play any team that might cause troublepretty much. we also travel to tallahassee.
I honestly wish instead of a committee deciding who gets in, take the human bias out of the equation all together & bring back the BCS formula, that ranks the teams on a equal footing that's based on an equal criteria for the 12 team playoff..
Agree, don't don't don't like the "punish" discussion point at all - for some of these teams that is just another data point when they played nobody all season, and with acc and twelve they were fighting over top twenty level competition at bestAs I said yes yesterday, we don’t have 5 autobids, we really have 8-10. You can’t just allow both teams from the conf championship games in the playoffs. Those games MUST matter.
He totally ignored that they ranked SMU higher than Clemson. This was not their choice. It was inclusion or merit - they chose inclusion.
Wrong. That wasn’t Heupel, it was Junior Samples Jr.Heupel just showed up looking like he just crushed a dozen glazed Krispy Kreme’s
Chill dude
True but we should be playing to a standard. If we do that, we get in every single year. Losing 3 games especially to two 6-6 teams, we have no argument for inclusion. I'd much rather our play demonstrate our merit. If you lose 1 game, no one will leave you out of any 12 team playoffs. The committee just said otherwise. Load up with cupcakes, because W/L is all that matters.
I would certainly argue the SEC and Big 10 gain absolutely nothing from playing each other under this system. That’s more of what they SHOULD do. Or atleast stop playing B1G teams in favor of ACC and Big XII teams to put their legitimacy in question.
By disengaged I mean he’s not supportive or actively rallying guys to what’s happening in the game.I’m not the biggest Milroe supporter , but I don’t dislike him either. But you will have to show physical evidence before I believe a lot of what is said about him. As far as the sidelines, I see him on the IPad sometimes, I don’t know what you mean by disengaged.
Actually surprised be this result, we really don't stack up great there, so will turn my energy to seeing how well we prep for bowl and next season, how our roster reforms
Earlier Saban mentioned that maybe there were some teams that shouldn't be ranked as high as they were during the year based on competition and that even reaching the conference Championship game for some should be called into question. So, it's a snip that's sort of out of context. He totally ignored that they ranked SMU higher than Clemson. This was not their choice. It was inclusion or merit - they chose inclusion.
This. If any SEC team can't beat FSU from the last number of years, there should be no talk of playoffs for that team.well, let's go ahead and swap FSU for Mercer. no need to play any team that might cause trouble
It's interesting because earlier today he says that the quality of the win should matter.Don't lose too Vandy.
Like CNS said years ago.
"You people think these games don't matter well lose one and see what happens. "
