Bama Players Transferring (catch all thread)

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

‘21 - 13-2 SEC Champions, NC Appearance

‘22 - 11-2

‘23 - 12-2 SEC Champions, Playoff Berth (4 teamer), kept UGA from a 3 peat.

No, it’s not an NC in those years, but only Bama fans would consider that “unsuccessful”. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’ll give you 24….but a lot of factors played into that and the GOAT is no longer here.

And let's be real: we win the 2021 title with a healthy Metchie and Williams.

So with all the defections in the secondary and the freshman we signed not eligible to play we are down to 3 scholarship corners for the Michigan game. No room for injuries. Red Morgan is going to have to start with little experience to work with. I don't know how they expect coaches to manage playing games with the portal gutting their rosters before the season is out. I realize why with the class schedule, but something's got to give. A player should at least complete the season before leaving. Otherwise they should not get paid or at least owe part of their pay back.

That’s not what I meant, and you know it. We are undisciplined beyond belief and cannot stop the run. Nor can we run the ball. Does that sound like Bama football to you?

If Bama fans are still doing it fifteen years later, then yes, it’s a problem.

It’s been less than four.
I get that. But one thing that bothers me is blaming losses on refs and injuries. I know *sometimes* it may be true, but it's just too easy to do this. But then when rival teams do the same we make fun.

My philosophy is you have to be better than the refs bad calls and good enough to overcome injuries that are part of the game.

Pretty close. UTA and UTK and tOSU and Michigan not so much. They don’t benefit from the seismic shift.

Oregon yes. Miami yes. Colorado yes.
Agreed, OSU isn't trying to blow it up. The Buckeyes are just taking advantage of the current landscape. Saban would be doing the same if he had stayed in the game.

Welp, now we can probably just blame losses on the transfer portal and NIL.
