So Saban gave the finger to all the meddling from the big donors on day one. But threw in the towel when NIL and the portal crap took over. Just shows the head coaches have little power these days. He wouldn't have gone out the way he did if he thought he could win that fight.
players just don't care about titles and NFL future as much since NIL started. 90% only care about the money they can make right now.

Except the one player (Simpson) who got the shortest end of the stick here is staying. That's why I think there's more to this than what we are privy to. I'm pretty sure if we had all the information, we would all.understand. I also think if it were really a situation where DeBoer just refused to pull the trigger like you're saying, then Simpson would be gone.
You are probably right, but even the owner of Tidefans was asking (rhetorically) in his wrap-up what it takes to get benched, even for a series or two.
The story of Jalen Milroe has been one of the most head scratching stories in Alabama football in the last couple of decades. At times, he has been brilliant (grave digger, Georgia 2024 first half, SECCG 2023), and at times his play has been quite poor.

I’m genuinely rooting for OSU. I really feel like Day is a good guy and good coach, but not elite. I feel like he has earned this one, considering how many people want him fired.

I don’t want UGA or Texas to win for obvious reasons. Penn State and ND don’t belong there after having not beaten a single ranked team in the regular season. I have always considered Oregon a gimmick team going back decades. Boise and ASU, I won’t even waste your time.

That being said, I won’t watch a single play.
My beef with OSU is them poaching us and buying our top players. For that they can lose and I won’t care. I do have a couple good friends who are OSU fans so I want to pull for them. But don’t think I can.

there is not a single team in the playoffs I am rooting for. I am hoping when it gets down to 2 teams, every single player and coach gets the flu and they cancel the rest of the season.

Bryce had a messed up shoulder in 2022 and was world's better.

He injured it by scrambling to try and convert a 3rd down vs Arky

What polar opposites our last two QBs have been.

Bryce gave 100% effort trying to win.

Milroe.....

If anyone can't see that he is all about him then I don't know what to tell ya. If you are bamboozled by his outward"love for Bama" or believe what comes out of his mouth, I can't help ya. I have always said a person should be judged by his actions and not his words.

CNS said "Your actions speak so loudly I can't hear the words coming out of your mouth".

My lasting impressions of this team are the trash talking, kicking footballs, animated emotional outbursts, arrogance, disrespect, unpreparedness, and Milroe looking out for himself above anybody else on the team.

If you could Dance and Smack Talk and say Catchphrases to win Ball games this team would be the #1 Seed

If it was, then why wasn't anything, and i mean anything, done during the season? During games where hes struggled so much.
To listen to the staff, Jalen played amazing all year and other people just let him down. I don’t think they actually believe that, because then I would have to accept that our coaching staff are wildly incompetent and not just a bunch of liars.

Maybe they are using reverse psychology on him in hopes he declares for the draft............the offensive side is incompetent
