If you would post it, I would like your perspective on the whole LANK situation & how affected the locker room. This made me laugh from a good healthy place
Note: I did not say we have to lower expectations, just recalibrate.
Pritchett more so than Proctor. But both don’t have the speed and agility that CKD desiresI agree, but watch the tape. You tackle play was terrible by any standards.
I may be mistaken but didn’t his oline last year win the Joe Moore award? That being said, if we’re looking to get a little smaller and more athletic, someone may need to send video of OSU’s d-line and their size and athletic ability. They were slapping Oregon’s rear ends off.A better O Line coach might improve things
I don't even mind a hot dog but don't drop them one at a time into the fire and not figure out why it's happening. The "problem" with eating steak is, once you've had it you don't want to go back to hamburgers and hotdogs. Saban got us used to steak for 16 years. I'm struggling going back to the burgers and hotdogs...

I will drink to that.maybe we need a i have no idea thread? covers everything
Thanks for your positive outlook. I believe you are correct that we should be optimistic about reasonalbe success.Happy New Year TideFans. Hope everyone is healthy, happy, and prosperous.
These last 3-4 seasons have been frustrating as all get out. 21-22 felt like we wasted the most prolific passer in program history with ineptitude at multiple spots around him. And 23-24 was a roller coaster I never want to see us on again.
All that said, I'm excited about the direction we're heading. First thing we have to do is recalibrate our expections. Realize that what Nick Saban did here was completely abnormal. Those of us who have been in here at least since the Dubose/Fran/Price/Shula days can appreciate that fact. Also, know that college football in January 2007 (when Saban took over) and January 2025 are WORLDS apart. As challenging as it was when Saban took over, he had some very important constants with regard to roster. In today's CFB, the only thing constant is change. It's a delicate balance.
And along those same lines, with the expanded CFP, we'll be in and in contention more years than not.
For everyone bashing CKD for not pulling the plug on this year's QB, keep in mind that CNS had every opportunity to do it permanently and he didn't. And I don't subscribe to the idea that the guys behind him could've done any worse. There was clearly some other things at play, but no need to rehash or even harp on that now. Onward.
Going forward, expect the offense to utilize all of the playmakers at our disposal and not be able to be shut down by keying in on one player. Regardless of who the signal caller is, I think we'll be able to take advantage of whatever weaknesses defenses have. With regards to our play caller, know that just as the defense was CNS's no matter who the DC was, this offense is CKD's, no matter who is calling the plays.
Outside of Booker, our entire OL should be back. Traditionally (the past 15 years at least), we do well when we have significant continuity up front on offense.
Very quietly, Kane Wommack and his defense found a groove after the Vandy game. Most of the players on that defense weren't recruited to play in that scheme. So one full year in the defense for the guys coming back (like LT Overton and James Smith) and the injection of talent recruited specifically for this defense (Noah Carter, Duke Johnson, etc.), I'm excited to see where we go from here.
Chin up, friends. A-Day is 3 months away. RTR
I don't think we can emphasize what a difference improved QB play will bring.SIAP Saw some videos implying Milroe was tipping run and pass plays with his feet. If feet were even it was a run if they were offset it was a pass.
Maybe a new QB will help the Oline perform better for those concerned
If it is true that Milroe was tipping plays with his feet then every damn offensive analyst should be canned. This is one of the very reasons you self scout. Something like this should be caught immediately. It is an easy tell, like a pitcher changing his hand/glove position going from fastball to breaking ball in baseball.SIAP Saw some videos implying Milroe was tipping run and pass plays with his feet. And most assuredly not 360 pound offensive tackles. Procter needs to be around 315 to 325 to be effective in this schemeTBF, it takes more than one season to totally overhaul your entire offensive system. CKD's offense requires a different type of OL...😎

It was a limited amount of clips so I would have to go back and watch more games to see how it holds up. But in the clips they showed it was 100% accurateIf it is true that Milroe was tipping plays with his feet then every damn offensive analyst should be canned. It is absolutely inexcusable if true.

He has been doing it all year and the staff has tried to get him to stop doing it. But he either is actively refusing it or just can’t stop doing it.
I used to work for a coach that called it, “the religion of repetitionâ€Â. Once you have done it for so long it is hard to change the habit or the drill is done so much it is just natural to do it in a live situation. He has been doing it all year and the staff has tried to get him to stop doing it.
