I still can't believe on 2nd and goal, Sark, the genius, went toss play from the shotgun from the 1-yard line..... It has to be one of the worst calls in CFP history...
After the game Sark tried to pass the buck by saying if everyone would have blocked properly it would have worked. But what are the odds that everyone blocks their man near the goal line on a play like that?

Shift to B1G being better?

Don't agree. UM was a "team" formed of 4 and 5 years players in 2023.

TOSU is a 20 million team but put together better than most in the new NIL era.

It's two years of B1G NC for different reasons and the common denominator is top to bottom they have an easier road to the playoffs than the current SEC does with our parity.
Shift to the SEC no longer being the hegemonic power of the sport.

I am starting a t-shirt company that has the phrase. "we spent millions of dollars on NIL and all we got was this lousy t-shirt "
In all seriousness, besides Milroe and the LANK gang, have you noticed anyone wearing that garbage besides the LANKSTERS and the players relatives that supported that mess? I know I haven't.

I don't think that's reality. IIRC, nine of the starters on defense have been there for 3+ years. I'm fairly certain they just spent the money to retain the good players they had and sniped a few high profile guys like Downs to fill out spots where someone left or they felt they could upgrade.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending it - if that's the future of CFB my interest will continue to wane until it disappears altogether - I just don't think OSU's roster is anything like Colorado or Ole Miss (as examples).

Have you been on campus? The LANK stuff is everywhere.
