I want a 300+ lbs DL and a stud MLB. However, we may be able to get those through the portal.
Yes, yes, I realize every lineman we sign doesn't end up starting.Yes. Not every lineman we sign ends up starting. Got to be really, really good to start and hoping he keeps developing so he does one day.
I think we will end up with him. He has caught the attention of major programs this year and is going to end up a fast riser at the end. Ive on seen his junior highlights and he looked every bit a 3 star...so his senior play must be a huge improvement. We may be adding a safety to this class. As discussed before he is Jireh's teammate and was committed to Maryland.

Alabama a top contender for recently decommitted 2026 defensive back
Kalen DeBoer has more momentum on the recruiting trail. After a quiet couple of months following a brilliant summer, Alabama has positioned itself for a strongbamahammer.com
When Bama and OSU get involved you know he has skills and he must have blossomed.I think we will end up with him. He has caught the attention of major programs this year and is going to end up a fast riser at the end. Ive on seen his junior highlights and he looked every bit a 3 star...so his senior play must be a huge improvement.
6' 7" and 265 and a DL. That dude could become a monster!
Not a flip back necessarily, but a Titan Davis flip is possible. This gritty win today should help more recruits shutting down their recruitments. I don't anticpate any one flipping back to us
Okay, That's the name I remember from a while back. With the news of coaches getting fired.. and I was left wondering who we could grab up....Not a flip back necessarily, but a Titan Davis flip is possible.
This is what I like hearing. Recruiting is still the life blood of college football. Granted, it's not exactly what it used to be, but it's still very, very important. It seems Deboer has really kept up the great recruiting Alabama had become accustomed to under Saban. Keep up the great work coaches!!!"***Three-star DL Franklin Whitley (Greenville, SC): Bama247 shared in the weekend recruiting wrap coming out of the unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa (Ala.) last weekend for the Vanderbilt game that Alabama seemed to have knocked it out of the park for the 6-foot-7 prospect. That was confirmed during the conversation with his father, Will Whitley, who could not have had enough positive things to say about the experience, which included a sit down with (Kalen) DeBoer and that is holding a lot of weight.
"Alabama has made it extremely hard for other programs and I will just leave it at that. This weekend, you talk about setting the bar, it went above and beyond with setting the bar of what I want to see my son thrive in. This was a great weekend. Obviously still in the process, but I would be lying if I didn't say this was top, top, top of the list so far of our experiences."
Florida State will get Whitley on campus this weekend (Oct. 11) after offering earlier this week, while South Carolina will host the in-state target for the Gamecocks the following weekend (Oct. 18). Other schools in communication include Clemson and Florida. Back to Alabama next month for Whitley, who has seen his recruitment completely take off this fall."
A recent article from 247 on Whitley.
6’7” on the defensive line? Yes please, and bring his brothers if they are that tall as well. This is what I like hearing. Recruiting is still the life blood of college football. Yeah, that is unusually tall for a DL...6’7” on the defensive line? Yes please, and bring his brothers if they are that tall as well.
Not only are our guys short, they don’t get pressure, and they don’t get their arms up nearly enough.
