Bama Game Thread: Official PostGame Thread - Bama @ UMo...

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

On the fourth quarter TD drive after we went up by 10, did we go into a prevent type coverage in the secondary?

If we get off the field there this win would have been alot less stressful the last 2 minutes.
That was mess. We all know that you can’t give up chunk plays and it is an absolute must to tackle them inbounds and make them use up their TO’s. They scored with over a minute left and had ALL OF THEIR TIMEOUTS left.

That is inexcusable.

I think we played a C+ game today. I think the team is tired and banged up, and that’s a large part of the poor play today. Mizzou was riding the emotion of a home game, they were in the midst of their longest home winning streak in 82 years.

To overcome all of that and win… that’s nothing but a positive. Yet we will not come off this win feeling too good about ourselves. We will improve.

I hope we can get people healthy this next week. I hate what happened with Jam.

Jam had 85 yards for the day and before the injury would have had over 100 yards in b2b games. Hardy had 52! The OL pass protection was average today, but Ty held on to the ball too long again.
He did hold it too long long a few times, but man oh man when he fits in that tiniest window it sure is pretty.
I think he possesses some of the best traits our past championship QBS. Tough as Nails like AJ and Coker, arm talent of Tua and Bryce and the leadership of Jalen Hurts.

Thankfully, Tennessee seems to going through a pre-Bama slugfest with Arkansas.

I really believe that hit on Miller was close enough to call targeting but it did not look like they even considered it. I mean how does a guy get a concussion if the helmet is not involved.

regardless of whether it was "crown" to helmet, it was certainly a deliberate hit to the head.
