Trump Policies, part IX

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

did that girl also use a litter box at school

Yes, it was a Hindu in Springfield, Ohio, she offered me DOG as a delicacy!!

(This whole thing reminds me of that "Seinfeld" where Kramer is afraid to confront Raquel Welch because he's heard that story about her getting so mad about getting a line cut that she climbed up a ladder and started dropping lights on people's heads: "A story like that has GOT to be true!")

I guess I'm getting old because I could have sworn Trump was president on January 6.

Joe Biden is somehow - at the exact same time - both a criminal mastermind planting FBI agents in the Capitol when he isn't even President AND incapable of a coherent thought, stuck in his basement.

If private citizen Joe Biden managed to direct the FBI to do this, Trump needs removed from office today for dereliction of duty.

Just another lie that his MAGA clown followers will believe because they can’t think for themselves.

Of course he was still president, so if FBI agents were present then he placed them there. Which makes his insurrection attempt even more obvious and clear.

There were FBI agents there the same way we have double agents in places like the Mafia or intelligence services. This has been known - and the "spying" on the Republican phones only happened because Mafia Don was using a burner phone to communicate so there's no record from the White House phone logs whom he was calling.

That right there tells you all you need to know about his intent. There's a seven-hour gap during the most critical time of the day, which is all anyone needs to know.

“It’s little known, not many people know it. Authority over the FBI is handed to the incoming president on January 5. You know, I’m probably the first one to ever think of that.”
- Donald Trump probably

How absolutely ridiculous and yet totally obvious that Bernie, AOC, Rashida and virtually all of the progressive leadership hasn’t tweeted a word about the Trump peace deal even though they’ve been screaming about “genocide” for two years.

They should be dancing in the streets and instead silence.

The masks are off.

I really do hope this cease-fire holds for a while and not just because I prefer peace over war. The people I loathe most in D.C. will be boiling with rage.
I can tell you from my point of view why I don't say much about it other than being very relieved that the living hostages have come home. Nobody trusts it. Considering the players involved, most Jews, even in Israel, just don't trust this to hold. Israelis are still shell shocked and haven't truly been able to breath just right since that well known Oct. 7th when the world fell apart for them. They will now begin to process from a different angle. Many have been angry with Netanyahu. I definitely have but for Israelis it's home and family he's endangered. Hamas? Here's a quote from Dan Perry's article in 'The Forward'--"The early signs are bad, despite Hamas’ release of the 20 remaining living hostages on Monday. Even as Trump and the Arab leaders signed their declaration, reports from Gaza described Hamas commanders consolidating power and executing accused collaborators. The group is not surrendering; it is reorganizing.". I worry that he's right. I fully understand the criticisms from other parts of the world, but the hamas idiots have to realize that if they want to live, this is the only way out. If they break this deal, I not only expect Israel to begin its campaign again, but I'd not be surprised if Trump sent in air strikes - the totality of which might wipe Gaza off the map.

But I don't really expect these hamas clowns to understand this or even care. Their double-digit IQs combined with a regressive religion means they're likely going to have to be eradicated for there to be any chance of lasting peace there.

Hamas has lost all allies. Iran is out, Hezbollah is out, Qatar is out, and so is the rest of the Middle East. I do expect these nuts to try something and get crushed. They will try something in my opinion because they are radical Islamists that don't care if they live or die in many cases and see no inherent value in human life.

This war is so old and has actually been going on for longer than people truly realize. Though I understand some Palestinian stances, I also think they may have handed down anger over many rulers throughout the region's existence to each successive generation. Perhaps it has coalesced into a focus on Israel which now may represent all those who were actually overlords. Just my mind mulling it over there and I could be very far off the mark. They traditionally always fought each other. Will that region ever be at peace?

I don't think that war is relatively that old. It has really started after the British Empire ruling, sometime in the early 20th century. It did start before the establishment of Israel in 1948.
However, relatively it is not that old in comparison to the war between Shia and Sunni in the same region

The Trump administration will set price floors across a range of industries to combat market manipulation by China, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told CNBC in an exclusive interview Wednesday.

China has driven foreign competitors in the rare earth industry out of business over the past two decades by using its global dominance in refining and processing to slash prices, Bessent said.

“When you are facing a nonmarket economy like China, then you have to exercise industrial policy,” Bessent told Sara Eisen at CNBC’s Invest in America Forum in Washington, D.C.

As a libertarian-leaning indie, I find this to be indefensible. Thoughts?
