If we hit FTs and easy layups this is a totally different game.
We are still weak at some positions physically making it very difficult to compete against teams like this.
Well, I know we're a good team, but we don't look like a good team. Weak on rebounding, and do we have any consistent scorers. I know it's early, so I hope Nate can figure it out. Maybe it was just a bad night.
Was a shoulda coulda woulda game tonight. Even with the poor shooting, there were other things we could have done to win this game. This team will be dangerous once it figures out what it takes to be an elite team.

If this team finds a big man, that can throw his weight around rebounding, we can easily be a Final Four team..
So far Williamson has been a waste of a roster spot. Guy plays like Officer Hooks in Police Academy...
I'm glad we are figuring out who we are early. We kept it close the entire game but a few late turnovers did it for us.

Patriot League is really bad if he was the best player in it.
Philon needed help this game. Will say Holloway’s defense this year and TO rate have been a good surprise and hopefully his 3s come back a little more to at least 33 plus percent. What seems might be the core group to win might be Philon, Allen, Bristow Holloway and maybe Bowen. Need others to step up little more
I hope there's no correlation, but it seems as Holloway has become more aggressive on the defensive end/getting to the rim, his 3 point shooting has fallen off.
The last couple of games he's missing a lot of shots off the front of the rim. Last night, he started out shooting short and then adjusted and was hitting off the back of the rim.
Unfortunately, he never found his range/touch last night and his struggles from 3 probably was the difference in the game.
Without a legit sharp shooter from 3 (and Holloway is our guy for that) teams can really sag and take away the spacing our offense needs to operate from the 3 point line and to the rim.
Last night reminded me of some of those games where Sears just tried to put the team on his back, but more times than not, one player - no matter how many Philon may score - can outplay/outshoot another team of good players.
A hot Hollaway and contributing Wrightsell make our offense click. And last night, it didn't.
Just my opinion only, but definitely Bowen.
Also, I don't think we can leave Mallette and Sherell off that "core group" list.
I think all of them need a larger portion of "step up" in their daily routine.
