Political Meme - Cartoon/Joke Thread...Part XXXIII

This is a straw man. No one serious says race-based districts are automatically “anti-racist.” The question is whether ignoring race just lets you deliberately dilute minority votes while claiming neutrality.
Riiiiight…

Literally using race to determine districts isn’t racism. You guys kill me, lol. 😂

I guess all white people are racist. Or all black people vote the same. Or something.

Not using race to discriminate against others is the right thing to do. Period. This includes creating districts that will reduce the ability for any minority to elect representation.

I afforded college on a parttime job at $12 an hour in the early 2000s. I had no help at all. Dad was deceased and mom was broke.

I went to USA in the late '80s - early '90s. Tuition was $1500 for the year, and I shared a two-bedroom apartment a few miles from campus for $150/month. I worked rotating shift work at a factory during the summer making $9+ and hour, which was almost 3x minimum wage. The money I made over the summer covered my expenses for the Fall and Spring semesters. College costs have skyrocketed since my time as an undergrad.

We Asked AI To Show America Without Republicans

Now before the subtle (or not-so-subtle) whataboutism machine cranks up, I'm no fan of Republicans, either. One could honestly see this as a joke at the expense of Democrats and another joke at the expense of Republican voters, who keep falling for exaggerated Republican claims about who they really represent. (Hint: it ain't you. It never has been.) They didn't learn anything when they put their faith in the Bush wing of the party and they damn sure haven't learned anything from the current party. Take from this whatever floats your boat.
