Link: Texas Tech QB Sorsby Entering Treatment for Gambling Addiction

I am glad to know that the only people that think this is ok are texas tech people. Everyone else thinks this is garbage. I know a judge ruled he gets to play, but if people had any integrity at all they would just forfeit any games against Tech.
Maybe the only valid assertion I’ve seen in favor of an expanded playoff.

Point being, if you take a loss on principle, yet don’t undermine your chances for a playoff spot, more schools might take your recommendation.

They're already discussing it, so maybe there is hope. I have significant doubt they'll follow through, but it's a start

Geez, the NCAA finally makes a correct ruling and all is does is get the lawyers running to kill it. The kid should take his year suspension like a man. But then, Texas Tech has so much money to throw around they'll probably pay off whoever to make things work like they want.

While I understand not playing Ttech in football....to penalize all Ttech sports is a bit overboard and not fair to the minor sports who had nothing to do with this ruling.

Teams forfeit games, TT goes "undefeated", makes playoffs. Blue font/no blue font, it's the crazy new world of college football.

Texas Tech decided to “play a stupid game and win a stupid prize”. The University President, the AD and their big money boosters were all on board with this. I don’t have any problem with universities refusing to schedule or cancelling competitions with Texas Tech from football to tiddlywinks.

Not really. They have almost ruined women’s sports with their insane overspending for rosters in non revenue sports. It’s time to bring them back to reality

One of their "minor sports that had nothing to do with it" showed up in OKC last week at the Womens College World Series with a roster that is rumored to cost them $15,000,000 and they still haven't won a freaking thing. Tech needs to be reigned in before everything falls apart.

Don't think for a minute that ANYONE would take a forfeit for principle as its obvious there isn't any anymore.

BTW, TT would gladly take any forfeit as there ultimate goal is winning....by any means possible.

Wonder if the kid "suddenly" completed his "rehab"? 🤔

Actually I think he did complete his rehab. All 30 days of it. Apparently that is all it takes and he is all cured now.
