Barring a miracle we will be invited to the N.I.T. but do you think we should accept or decline. As disapointing as this season has been I have mixed emotions about it. I see no real gain from it except to get the younger guys some more experience. Would it help?
If we could be garaunteed an opening round home game at least I think it might. We would have the advantage at home against whoever and it would also improve the chances of not being one and done in the tourney. A one and done in the NIT would be worthless in my opinion but if accepting a NIT bid we could get 2 or more extra games out of it I think that would be good for the younger guys.
Steele's season is done unless he could play in the SEC tourney. I don't see any other real advantage otherwise. So let the debate begin.
