Muscle Shoals got the Swampers
It is a safe place I know I can get information about my school, the players, coach's, game day, advise, menus. I can meet friends and share ideas.A place where there is fun, where we share in each others joy and sadness.Thanks for letting me be a part........:biga:
 
It is a lifeline to the world of ALABAMA!! It has also caused me some grief from my wife:0 She thinks i spend to much time on this site!
I love this place and most of the people on it:)
 
It's a place I can spend some time when the wife wants to crack my skull with a rolling pin, the mule is mad at me for making him work, the car has a flat, and the tractor won't start.

I love this site. Anyone ever seen the commercials where the guys are talking sports through their 'lack of information?' When their butts are actually supposedly talking. Thats me. Now I don't talk Alabama football through my lack of information. I educate others with what I learn. Tidefans.com makes the Bama nation a better place for all.
 
I'm new to this site, but I'm glad I stumbled onto it. It is the best site I've run across. No nonsence, but can cut up and have fun too. Good Mods that participate instead of just zapping with lightning from the clouds. :biggrin:

I'll be here from here on out.
 
Tidefans is a place for me to learn about football, 3 years ago i couldn't tell you what kind of offense we ran, or the different kind of defenses you could run. It might now have helped my spelling ability but it sure has helped my football IQ go up.

I spend more time on this site than any other site on the interweb.
 
Between teaching, coaching, and Tidefans; my wife feels about fourth fiddle. I come here for almost all of my knowledge. Don't say it much, but Thanks Tidefans.com and the Administrators.

connecting nazi germany and tidefans it just a bit of a stretch...here you have the right to leave if you don't like it. besides its late, if you have an issue with the way the site is run take it up with the mods or the head man himself, i'm sure they'd all love for you to tell them how they should run the site. good night.

lol You're taking the "connection" way too seriously. It was an elementary illustration. For the most part, this is an enjoyable website... great information, although a lot of times this is the last place to report that information due to the "unless you have a link, your post will be deleted and you will be banned" rule. I feel that the strictness is taken too far in a lot of cases, and there are some rules that do no good for the forum, administration, or reader.

However, it is a site that runs very smoothly for the most part. There are pros and cons - I don't like the cons at all, but the pros keep me coming back for more. I'm sure there are others that feel the same. And truth be told, this forum is a pure oligarchy, run very strictly by a select few with ultimate power over the message boards.
 
TideFans is the most interesting/realistic/level-headed forum run.

Thankfully: No hot-headed redneck name-calling & trash talking is allowed - and when the subject matter becomes too heated or out of control - it gets zapped! Way to go, Mods!

On gamedays when those who live far away can't get a game on TV or radio - they can always plug into the game thread - what a fun & great way to be in the know as "live" as can possibly be. And though the comments are sometimes off-base (based on rumor or what people may suppose) - at least they're presented pretty tame & someone generally comes along to correct anything that's not pretty much on target.

It's a fun bunch of people & I believe it's mostly comprised of loyal fans who want the best for Alabama. I appreciate the mods as well as the posters. We used to post up till a couple of years ago & kind of got away from it, we moved to B'Ham from Tuscaloosa - but now we're back on the forum - loving to be a part of it once again!
