DT Denzel McCoy, Northview: This 6-4, 275-pound lineman is a key target for Georgia Tech and Georgia. He’s got a dozen offers. He’s comparable to former teammate Cordian Hagans, an AJC Super 11 now at LSU, but is more suited to the interior.
WR Markeith Ambles, Henry County: Could Henry County have the best receiver prospect two years in a row? Teammate Ambles is the teammate of AJC Super 11 player Jamal Patterson, who has committed to Stanford. Ambles, a 6-1, 185-pounder, has offers from a dozen schools and has visited Georgia and Georgia Tech for games.
Bama is all over the top two Georgia prospects. They have already offered McCoy and Ambles.
Junior day: Here are six of Georgia’s best
Wow, he was that impressed by the AU/UT game :eek2: Interesting AU is starting to recruit so early, wonder why?
Bama offered him as an athlete. He is more of an ATH than a QB. He is 6'3" and he has good quickness and speed but he lacks arm strength and accuracy as a QB. I think he projects as a WR in college and about the only place he would get a shot a QB in the SEC would be in the Auburn spread. I just don't see him playing QB even at the barn. How good is Chitty? He seems like a good athlete. How highly touted will he be?

The kids going to the barn because of the spread offense are gonna be sorely disappointed. Tubby isn't giving it a chance to work and it will likely be scrapped next year unless he can find another OC and other assistants that know how to teach it.Bama offered him as an athlete.
