I have been under general anesthetic more times than I could count, certainly more than two dozen. However, the longest and deepest, followed by a couple of days of very heavy morphine, was with my cardiac bypass surgery. One thought is that China actively considered the fact that the US has its mind somewhere else why not just take over Taiwan! I have seen research that China has massive oil storage and has been actively adding to it , while the US is burning through irreplaceable munitions.
Iran has well earned punishment over the last fifty years but it did not need to come to an all out war.
Well, sometime in that last 30 years – all about eight or nine months ago – the President of the United States and the drunken sailor who heads his Department of Offend Everyone - informed us all they had obliterated Iran’s ability to obtain a nuclear weapon.
Now they have changed their story and they’re telling us that Iran needed to make a deal.
Why, if they had actually obliterated anything?

White House claim of imminent Iranian threat undercut in Hill briefings
Pentagon briefers acknowledged to congressional staff in a briefing Sunday that Iran was not planning to strike US forces or bases in the Middle East unless Israel attacked Iran first, undercutting the administration’s argument Saturday that Tehran was planning to potentially strike the US preemptively and posed an imminent threat, according to multiple people who attended the briefing.Senior administration officials told reporters Saturday that the US chose to attack Iran because it had received indications the regime was planning to launch missile attacks against US bases in the region preemptively and create a mass casualty situation. CNN reported Saturday that sources said there was no intelligence to support the administration’s claim.
The briefers pointed to Iran’s ballistic missile program and proxy forces as evidence that they posed a threat to US forces in the region, but sources noted that has been true for years and did not support the administration’s argument that the US needed to attack Iran first.
The briefers also touched on the US’ military strategy in Iran, one of the sources said, and noted that US forces over the last two days have primarily focused on destroying Iranian air defenses and command and control nodes, and plan to shift to more aggressively targeting Iranian ballistic missile launch sites in the coming days.
The US has been “burning” through long-range precision guided munitions as part of the operation, this person said, and will likely continue to do so until the US and Israel are confident they have air superiority over Iran.
When asked about briefers undercutting the administration rationale, White House spokesperson Dylan Johnson said the Pentagon had “briefed the bipartisan staffs of several national security committees in both chambers for over 90 minutes on the military action in Iran.”

As predicted it seems that power is centralizing around the IRGC and the clerics. The problem these lesser sons (Trump and Netanyahu) don’t understand is that no one has ever achieved regime change by bombing a country since 1945 and there was never a clear alternative to the clerics.

Yes, that’s exactly where my mind went when Trump started this.
There are reports coming out that China is supplying new weapons and intelligence to Iran. This may be their proxy war, like the U.S. /Ukraine war with Russia.
I see the U.S. and Russia expending munitions to the point China will be the supreme military power in the world.
I have seen reports the Home of the U.S. Navy fifth Fleet is burning this morning, Iran also claims a U.S. jet was shot down in Kuwait, I saw the video, it doesn’t look like missile damage, but it did crash. Iran is again claiming to have struck the USS Abraham Lincoln.
That’s a long way to go to resupply . Hopefully, the U.S. thought far enough ahead to stock pile munitions in that part of the world. China is supplying ship movement intelligence to Iran. Helping to fend off attacks.
