This is good and bad. The bad being air superiority is usually a precursor to a ground attack.
Iranian suicide drones have struck the U.S. military base in Erbil. A weapons depot is on fire with lots of secondary explosions and munitions cooking off.

I’ll wait for another independent verification. It may well have happened, but it looks eerily similar to an explosion that happened 5-6 years ago at the same facility. That was faulty construction and storage procedures by local contractors, which even if it is verified would make Erbil a soft target at this point.

The general public believe the US missile defence systems are foolproof , but they are not . While they may be 90-95% effective , all it takes is that 5-10% took do severe damage to an ammo dump, or strategically placed on a soft target .I understand your skepticism, but this appears real. So yeah, i believe it is possible . But I take everything reported with a grain of salt. I usually look for AlJazeera confirmation or Reuters in that part of the world .
Sad, but I don’t entirely believe our own state department.
TRUMP STATEMENT: Earlier today, CENTCOM shared the news that three U.S. military service members have been killed in action… And sadly, there will likely be more before it ends. That’s the way it is. Likely be more.
Mark Kelly: The Senate needs to vote immediately on Tim Kaine’s War Powers Resolution. I’m voting yes, because it’s clear that Trump has no plan to avoid escalation into a wider conflict that puts more servicemembers in harm’s way.
