A democrat with a really big pair of stones needs to come out and quote him right back to himself and say, “You say the only reason anyone would oppose voter ID is because they want to cheat. Well, the only reason someone like you would not release the Epstein files is because you’re in them. And if you’re not, release them right now.

In fact I’ll make you a deal: we’ll VOTE ON the SAVE Act, so you can get everyone on the record, right after you release all of the Epstein files. If you’re not in them, you have no reason to not agree to this deal.”

When you're arrogant and think you cannot possibly learn anything because the person telling them to you makes less than you do, you deserve the consequences. That party has been told for 30 years now EVEN FROM FORMER REPUBLICAN CONSULTANTS how they've gotten scrubbed in elections - and how to turn it against the GOP. (Carville has been screaming for years and folks not even born when he, you know, elected a President from the party that had lost 5 of the previous 6 elections, four in blowouts, dismiss him as understanding basic politics, which has never changed).

Almost none of them will ever listen.

But they really do think their nonstop library of soft language (like saying "gun safety laws", which fools not one single voter) fools the rubes they look down upon. To use one more example.....

When your response to voter ID is the most politically tone-deaf thing imaginable ("that's racist"), you're not fooling anyone either. Come out for it but in a very simple and basic form. Ask the person ranting about it to give a specific example of where voter ID isn't used (seriously....I've never just walked up anywhere and been handed a ballot like it's candy as Republicans pretend).

Because once you get caught in the cell phone age requiring ID to attend your fundraiser, your hypocrisy is there for everyone to see. (And please none of this "but Trump" comeback. Not even the average Republican gets away with acting like Trump on most things).

What would be the historical precedent for a US President appearing on national TV complaing about supposed election interference while bombing bridges and infrastructure in Iran with all of the potential consequences of that.? That I believe speaks for itself!

I guess l could have put this in the DNC thread but here’s an outstanding example: Bernie and AOC have headed to Michigan in the PRIMARY to endorse the guy who flat out will not acknowledge the right of Israel to exist. We’re not talking Gaza here, we’re talking abolition and nonsense.

And instead of the usual tact - wait until the nominee is chosen - they’re hopping in for the anti-Jew. Just as Bernie did with Platner.

This isn’t hard, but it is when you’re this stupid.

Agreed. If the Dems had a controlled unified message they would mop up...

And the thing is, it isn't hard to quietly work behind the scenes on things you want without letting them become the focus. If you want to really work on say equal rights for LGBT, do that, but realize... It's the economy stupid. That is what is important to the vast majority. They don't care about the rest.
