No fan of Trump, but I agree with him here. The mayor doesn’t have the power to arrest someone for war crimes. If the UN Police grab him, that’s on them.

They have no jurisdiction on US soil, even if there were such a thing...
I really wasn’t sure if they did (there must be some sort of police at the UN Headquarters), but it’s not the mayor’s place to create an international incident. If he wants to say he should be charged, that’s fine but actually having the NYPD arrest him is ridiculous.
But I think he is just grandstanding, surely he isn’t that stupid.
The UN has a dedicated security force inside the compound, but they are not armed. Any serious breach is responded to by the NYPD, who maintains an office at the front gate, but they can only enter if the UN office requests assistance.

I am old enough to remember the opening minutes of the pandemic when the media told me, Andrew Cuomo had done the most spectacular job of anyone and Trump was terrible.
It just took a little while for the feces to float to the surface and show us Cuomo was 10 times worse than Trump, which you wouldn’t even imagine was possible.
Let’s see how popular this guy is when his stuff has had a chance to actually be seen in action beyond the first scripted 15 plays from scrimmage, which included a bail out from the governor of the state.
There wasn't much of a case to begin with.
Sometimes trump is satisfied by just being a severe irritant, financially & time/effort to defend.
there is not, but hearn still has to defend himself and that's not cheap, and having potentially multiple years of federal time hanging over your head, b.s. case or not, is a lot to handle
We have laws in this country that are supposed to punish people who continually file frivolous or baseless lawsuits, but what do you do when that "person" is the DOJ itself?
