    I will agree that Riddle is often overlooked when Bama RBs are mentioned. I think most people in the last decade remember SA more than any other RB at Bama. At one point in time, Riddle was #3 career rushing behind Humphrey & Musso and is currently #5.

    Re: ESPN Gameplan worth it since I've moved to ATL? I would definitely do GamePlan. I have DirecTV and it worked great. If Bama has a great season and most of the games are picked up by the networks, then you get to watch other teams.

    Thanks Jess. The thing that was most impressive to me are your comments on the players being noticeably bigger and stronger. Having guys that want to play for Bama is one thing, but having guys with strength and size that want to play for Bama equals championships.

    The hype is generated by fans, media and recruiting services and when kids don't "live up to the hype" its unfortunate. We have things really twisted when a kid dies at 26 from a heart attack and the only thing we can say is he never lived up to the hype.

    Those test scores are in no way a measure of success or failure at the collegiate level. I scored a 19 on the ACT, had a 3.69 GPA and did very well in honors course (Calculus, AP Biology, Trig & Chemistry to name a few). JJ has a 2.75 Core GPA and would need a total of 59 points on the ACT...

    When you say he wasn't recruited, do you mean recruited by us or any other major football program? Based on my understanding, he has football experience. However, he was better at track than football.

    Those that love Farve can make a case that he is top 5 of all time. He is a Hall of Famer on the 1st ballot IMO. Dilfer and Warner might have a Super Bowl ring, but they are not HOF QB's and definitely can't hold Farve's jock.

    The sooner Bama returns to its dominance of Cow Bell U (71-18-3) the sooner he will quit running his trap. Croom continuing to place the race card is getting a bit old. IMO, Croom was no more qualified than Shula but Shula was given the nod because of the image factor.
