    Yep, CKD needs to soak in the entire season, take notes of lessons learned and implement them into the offseason. But as it stands right now and next years schedule, he's got a 9-3/8-4 team. It's his job to make the team better than that between now and then. Good luck to him.

    Yet we could never establish a consistent, effective running game because of several players who were swinging doors every other snap. I watched it all year. Block one play, penatration the next. Rinse and repeat that for the entire season.

    I think Saban jumped off because he knew the NIL/transfer portal was about to take the program into a nose dive. He got out at the perfect time for him and his legacy. I enjoyed the last 16 years but am coming to terms with what the future will more than likely look like.

    He even admitted his age was becoming a factor in recruiting. His choices for assistants had really started slipping. The cracks were there on the OLINE, at QB, at WR and the overall performance of the team. We just weren't as good of a program.
