FWIW, I've seen Blake Mazza, #38 on the list, kick at Plano Sr. High School. He's got a powerful leg. Only offer is Army.

I don't think we'll be offering a scholarship to the kicker in this class. Probably will do a preferred walk on.

Not RTO, but to me the way this transpired seems like he simply had a change of heart. Just a couple of weeks ago he was strong to us. Didn't make a parade out of his recruitment. I think as signing day approached things got real and he wanted to stay closer to home. Of course I have nothing to base this on, just a gut feeling.

sounds like he wanted to stay close to home. can't argue with the weather or ASU coeds either.

Plus, he may have just decided to stay in his home state. He is from Arizona, and sometimes the lure of playing in front of family and friends can be a strong one.

I think they still allow a tee in High school, at least in Alabama. But I wonder whether the presence or absence of a tee, or maybe the height of the tee, varies among states.

Why won't we/haven't we offered either elite Carlson brother from Legacy Alabama families? That's the better question. My guess is both their commitments would have stuck.
