Todd Graham (formerly HC at Arizona State) is the new HC at Hawaii.
I had no idea Hawaii even needed a coach. I guessed I missed out on applying for the job.
Leach goes to Miss. St., Nick Rolovich (former Hawaii HC) goes to Wash St., Graham to Hawaii. Not really big news on our side of the continent, but I posted it because Hawaii is our friend.

Do you like this DC hire by Day?
They certainly have the talent that D at a high level
He is a great secondary coach and has learned totally 3 different defensive schemes under different DCs. I have no idea how he will do as our DC, or even which philosophy he will employ. At this point I will wait and see.

Less than two weeks after accepting the defensive coordinator position at Syracuse, Zach Arnett is on the move again as Mississippi State announced Arnett as its new defensive coordinator on Wednesday. Arnett was formally announced as the Orange defensive coordinator on Jan. 11, but the move to join Leach's new Bulldogs staff in the SEC was an opportunity the former San Diego State assistant felt he couldn't let slip past him.
"I couldn't pass up the chance to join an SEC program like Mississippi State," Arnett said in a school announcement. "I am grateful to Coach Leach and John Cohen for the opportunity to be a part of this first-class institution.
That's a weird hire. Air Raid and 3-3-5 defense? In SEC? Whew....

For SEVERAL reasons. Two QB's, their entire family, and they, Hawaii played us in a game several years ago and it served as a BOWL game when we could NOT go to a BOWL because of the actions of someone who should NEVER have been THE HC.

Right. Hawaii actually gave us two games back then. As some can attest— who visited, lived, or were stationed in Hawaii—you would see a good bit of Bama gear in public even before Tua.

James Coley (ex UGA Offensive Co-ordinator) was just hired as Texas A&M's Tight Ends coach. He and Jimbo worked together at a few places. Supposedly he was one of UGA's best recruiters. I wonder if he will help recruiting at Texas A&M as much as he did at UGA.

I think their scheduling is easier next season than it was last season too. I expect them to be very competitive if Mond develops more during the off season.
