This might be the first time in years I was more excited about what I saw out of the defense than the offense. I think we have some dudes that are going to bring the hammer!
Totally agree...our defense has a chance to be extra special and deep...This might be the first time in years I was more excited about what I saw out of the defense than the offense. I think we have some dudes that are going to bring the hammer!
He probably got an NIL deal from UGA to transfer to us.I think UGA planted him on us…![]()
Laughing, kind of, sort of, maybe not so muchHe probably got an NIL deal from UGA to transfer to us.
Just joking, kind of, sort of, maybe not so much
That dropped TD from Simpson hurt my brain.I think Holstein was a victim of his most egregious drop: the one where he was wide open on a mid level crossing route and he just let it hit him in the chest and bounce out.
That’s like shooting a 12 point buck first time you go hunting… it’s never going to get better than that!Well, I had 4 generations of Tide Fans in attendance for this A-Day. The 11 month old stole some cheerleaders hearts.

Simpson is the guy right now. Lonergan should see a lotta reps in the fall. Love Milroe but he’s not it.
Justice Haynes is straight up BEAST. If he can block it’s gonna be hard to keep him off the field.
DB’s were the the most SEC game ready group. Malachi looked really good. Kool Aid is a sure fire first rounder.
Still concerned about the O-line but seems a bit more consistent.
Yeah, WR drops are still issue but there were several lazy routes as well. Seems to be a lack of concentration and discipline in this group.
At the moment I’m about 80% “feel good” about making it to Atlanta.
ROLL TIDE!
Reminds me of a story Coach Stallings once told about a kicker who was struggling in practice. Coach Stallings asked him why he was having such a difficult time focusing. He said, Coach, it's because you are standing there watching me. Coach Stallings said, well son, I hate to tell you but I'm going to be there watching at every single game.Maybe it is just an issue when the public is watching?
Let's play the game with no fans and no tv cameras and they can just announce the results when finished.
Along with 100K pair of eyes in the stands!Reminds me of a story Coach Stallings once told about a kicker who was struggling in practice. That's actually an old John McKay quote - he was quite humorous.Reminds me of a story Coach Stallings once told about a kicker who was struggling in practice. So I'll be the jerk that makes the comment that if a delayed blitz (that you know can't even actually hit you) causes that throw just imagine how bad it could be in live action.I think it has already been mentioned, but the defense was bringing a crapLOAD of pressure for long periods of the game. That INT Milroe threw from out of the end zone. There was some type of delayed blitz by an outside corner or safety and he was about to (in theory) light up Milroe.
Just think - two five star (I thought YP was a four but an article I read earlier said five) edges, two (very possibly) All American LB’s who didn’t play.Totally agree...our defense has a chance to be extra special and deep...
Can we look forward to the return of Joyless Murderball at last? The good old days of MTAQ? I'll have a large helping of that please. It means fewer possessions, which makes ball security and defense more important.
