2023 RIP Thread

Laine died "peacefully" Tuesday morning at his home following "health setbacks" from interstitial lung disease, his wife, Elizabeth Hines, shared on his Facebook page.

"I was at his bedside, holding his hand as I played his favorite Christmas songs for him. He’s been singing Christmas songs the past few weeks and I continued to play Christmas songs while he’s been in ICU on a ventilator this past week," she wrote.

Frank Wycheck threw one of the most famous passes in NFL history not thrown by a QB.

So sad.

He apparently had several concussions in his playing career

Was just about to post the same thing. And young, ouch.

Only 61. He will be missed.....

I bought the 7 season DVD series of "Homicide: Life on the Street" during the hurricanes of 2004-5, so I'd have something to watch on my DVD player while waiting for Spectrum cable to be restored.

What a great actor though.....

Founding Dixie Chicks member Laura Lynch was killed in a car crash in West Texas on Friday evening, her cousin Michael Lynch confirmed to CBS News.

Details of the crash were not immediately known.

An upright bass player, Lynch founded the band alongside three other women in 1989, including sisters Martie Maguire and Emily Strayer, according to the band's biography on Country Music television. The group recorded three albums together before Lynch left and was replaced by Natalie Maines, creating the current trio of Maines, Maguire and Strayer.
