Junior Day is this weekend and 5* QB Elijah Haven and 5* WR Monshun Sales. We are the leader for Haven and this article says it appears we will get his commitment next month. Sales grew up in Alabama and is a Bama fan living in Indianapolis. This would be an incredible double header if we were to get both.

Those two would be HUGE for '27.

Think about this: For all the complaints about CKD's first two seasons (some legit), you can hardly tell a difference in his ability to recruit when compared to his predecessor.

In addition, we know that every great football team in the modern era always has several elite positions and the top of those is QBs and WRs, which it seems CKD has an eye to recruit and develop.

If/when we get the issues with the OL and RBs fixed/improved, we are setting ourselves us for continued success!

Or it’s just generally so crazy that signing the number 1 or so class could be gutted by year 2 if the majority of those guys aren’t playing right away, etc.

In some cases yes, but Bama has shown we are very good at high school recruiting with top 3 classes in both of the last two years. Portal is a different story.

Bama also made a good impression on 5* WR Monshun Sales who is originally from Alabama and grew up a Bama fan. I believe SJC said his nickname on his HS team is Bama.
