When they planned this thing, VT, Miami, and FSU were powerhouses...NOw that they've fallen, the game is a failure

Plenty of good seats are still available for this re-match of unimpressive teams.

ACC Championship Game BC vs. VT *****GAME THREAD*****

Don't know if anyone really cares about this game. As of right now BC is moving the ball pretty well.

I'm not ready to label Virginia Tech a powerhouse. If they didn't play this game, would anyone notice?

Charlotte makes much more sense, location wise. Jacksonville is just so far away from so many ACC schools.

Sounds like all 14fans showed up for the big game. The Army - Navy game is better.

Man, I loved Jacksonville. Except for the drunken FSU fans (and the loss) I had a really good time @ the river city shoot-out. Why don't they put in for the SECCG, it's a great venue and its truly a neutral site for the SEC. Move that ACC dog to Atlanta.

Yeah, not many showed up. Here's a phone pic and as you can see, it's pretty sparse.:D

Exactly. The game needs to be moved to the Panthers' stadium, the Redskins' stadium, or set up a rotating scheduled like the Big 12 does. Atlanta works for the SEC because it is a relatively short drive from all SEC schools, outside of Arkansas. The ACC stretches from Boston to Miami.
