Thank You. This being retired is affecting my time to come here and talk football with my friends here on Tidefans. First, your game Saturday was really exciting to watch. The Tide looked sunk, but I should have known better right?
As a Sooner for 60 years, this weekend was one to remember for sure. A lot of us old timers were scratching our heads all season as to why the Sooners looked so unorganized. I think we now know a little more why. You folks know how it feels to be misled, Franchionne comes to mind. Unorganized players come from unorganized coaches, and Riley was contemplating leaving now for months. Nobody is feeling sorry for us I'm sure, but this will hurt, and likely for the next couple of seasons. Stay tuned, this is some real soap opera stuff here! Good Luck this weekend

An OU buddy of mine says he thinks they might have been talking for months, and that would help explain how inexplicably OU has played this year - I was one of many who thought they would likely enter the CFP undefeated. They just didn't look themselves.

There are folks here saying Riley was either late or didn't show for staff meettings since early in the season, which was uncharacteristic of him. Kennedy Brooks is a good tough back, he's not Billy Sims, but a back that gets better later in games. There were several games he carried 5 or 6 times, and nobody ever got an explanation why. This Sooner isn't going to make excuses for how they played this year, it will be good to have a hungry coach again.

Good to see you Wishbone. I think this could be fortunate for Sooner Nation if you hire the right coach. But the answer is not the Clempson D coordinator IMHO.

I agree. Venables did not leave Norman on good terms. People look at him like he's some defensive genius, but he got lit up more than once.
