With all due respect, the food industry will supply whatever the consumer demands. There is a reason McDonalds, Burger King, etc., feed so many people every day. People like the food, even though it's not necessarily the best choice for your health. Should fast food establishments play big brother and decide what Americans are allowed to eat? How does that idea square with the freedoms provided in our constitution?
I wish everyone would eat more healthy but some people just don't want to. Fatty and sugar-filled food just tastes better. It's hard to resist. Bottom line is if people want healthy food they need to demand it, make it part of the culture so people are embarrassed about being unhealthy and overweight. Not embarrassed like people making fun if them but in the sense that they are disappointed in themselves for being overweight when there is an easy solution if they really care enough about it. Everyone can lose weight if they want to. Regardless of claims about thyroid problems, insulin-resistance, if you consume more calories then you burn then you will gain weight. If nothing else works, meaning psychologically you can't push your chair away from the dinner table, then Ozempic can help. The ridiculous thing about Ozempic is that all it does is take your hunger away. Nothing else. So, if you can lose weight when Ozempic is making you not hungry why can't you just not eat without needing a drug?
