If there's an OL'man worthy of a top five pick in this draft (which I have no clue if there is) I'd grab him with the 4th pick, solidify their OL and either use their other top pick for a QB or take shot on Barkley and nab what many are calling a sure thing at RB. A lot of options for the Browns.

Quenton Nelson is supposed to be one of the better Guards in recent years. Only issue is that he plays Guard not Tackle

1st round is for just about anything but rbs, k, and punters. OL, QBs, and DBs are usually the first to go. The issue with drafting a rb high is the insane amount of money for a position that has the most wear and tear on it. Very few rbs hit 30 while playing at an elite level.

The number 1 pick will make somewhere in the neighborhood of $8M a year over the life of his initial rookie contract, which I think is four years with a team option for a fifth year. That's not outrageous money, all things considered.

I believe that would make him tied for the 3rd highest paid RB FWIW.

That's absurd. They should now draft their favorite QB at 1. Then go BPA at 4. FWIW I think BPA will be Minkah.

Taylor isnt going to lead them to any championship but they will be a better team with him..Not really a good move unless they are going to let him groom a top draft pick at QB. You rarely win in the NFL with average QB play.

I have this suspicion that the Browns want darnold to be the answer and don’t want a Brees-Rivers situation in which the old guy is better but the investment for the young guy is too much.

I think the Bills may get AJ but I think we won’t know until the next few weeks at the interest they have in him.

This is the only thing that makes any sense to me. A place-holder until the drafted QB is ready. I also think this closes the door on AJ to Cleveland.

Joke on the Tyron Taylor move all day, but the Browns made some quality trades yesterday. They now have Josh Gordon and Jarvis Landry at WR.

I actually think the Cleve move makes complete sense, unfortunately. They got an excellent wide receiver and will draft a stud college kid with the high draft pick. Taylor was a decent enough qb at Buffalo and , as Catfish said will hold down the position until the high draft pick is ready.

I am concerned that this is a bad year for AJ to be a free agent. Not sure where he goes and is the Day 1 starter.
