We will find out what kind of grit and fight this team and these players have. My take is simple...

If we win, we put ourselves in the driver seat to have a chance to make the playoffs and play for the ultimate prize. If we lose, we don't deserve any of that and we got what we deserved. Nothing more, nothing less.

Alabama is 29–10–2 against LSU in Baton Rouge
Home team disadvantage is one of the weird things about this series.
That's probably an overstatement, but it seems the visitors have won a lot over the years.
Between 1970 and 1988 (inclusive), the visitors were 14-5-1 (and all 5 losses were LSU losses in Birmingham/Tuscaloosa.

Would love to say we will win but I think Nussmeier carves the secondary up.
He will get his yardage, but he'll also give us the ball 2 or 3 times. He carved up A&M also, but LSU only had 23 points to show for it. We are pretty good at the "bend, don't break" stuff, so I see something similar happening here. I think if we can capitalize on the turnovers we are gonna get, we win

Defense will have to blitz/be aggressive and get to qb or it could be a long day for the secondary.

offense needs an identity.

Depending on the version of Milroe and how aggressive the d is it’s a win. If d lets them have all day then it’s tough, if it’s Milroe from the last three games it’s tough, combine it then…
I wonder how much their defense has improved from last year. I know it's improved, but it's not clear how much. I don't have much faith in Milroe, but if their defense is like it was last year, then we'll be fine. I wonder if their defense is better or worse than Mizzou

Thank goodness a different discussion. Several folks have mentioned that our scripted plays at the beginning of the game were the main reason for success against UGA. I have been wondering if that is the case, then why don't we seem to have scripted plays for the other games. Maybe since this is coming off another bye week (like the UGA game) we will see more of that and a fast start. LSU's defense is not that great, we should have success against them.

Where do you think LSU's defense ranks between UCheaT, SoCar, Mizzou, and LSU? Last?

Bama has always been a thorn in the Who’s backside in Baton Rouge. Next Saturday will be no different, we win going away. RTR
Agreed…. Bama plays well in Baton Rouge. I think Milroe gives LSU fits with his scrambling and called QB runs. I also thing Jam and Haynes will have a field day. Play action passes will lead to deep throw as the LSU safeties keep sneaking up to help stop the run

I'd like to see us commit to the run in this game. Find our identity and jam it down their throats.

Only then can justice prevail and crush LSU.

We are a young team, but the RBs can feast.

The LSU defense had no clue as to stopping the zone read or jet sweep against TAMU. I hope we show them some of that
