Sounds like something Coach Bryant would have said.We will find out what kind of grit and fight this team and these players have. My take is simple...
If we win, we put ourselves in the driver seat to have a chance to make the playoffs and play for the ultimate prize. If we lose, we don't deserve any of that and we got what we deserved. Nothing more, nothing less.
Kelly is a terrible human being, but a great head coach. At a place like Alabama he would win multiple championships. But the stink would be overwhelming. Some think Kelley is an awesome coach. I think he has an awesome agent who can sell ice to Eskimos. I didn’t realize he never lost two games back to back. IDK but were any of those two back to back winning teams?
We'll see about 'great'. Definitely a solid coach, but the last three coaches have won NCs at LSU (including one of the dumbest humans that's ever lived), so I guess time will tell. He doesn't have to compete against the GOAT anymore, so there's no excuse for not winning BIG at LSU.Kelly is a terrible human being, but a great head coach. I would straight up interrupt my Bama Football Fanhood until such time he was gone or I die.Kelly is a terrible human being, but a great head coach. At a place like Alabama he would win multiple championships. But the stink would be overwhelming.
Yeah, and not to mention Ed Orgeron…We'll see about 'great'. Milroe's version may depend on what their defense does. A constant blitz every play won't be good. This game hinges 100% on what version of Milroe that we get. Literally nothing else.
To me, a never-ending series of the same negative comments about the same person invading every conversation eventually amounts to bashing a person, but I realize the same rules that apply to marriage don’t apply here. Thanks Earle.
@davefrat If one of those old JM complaints threads got resurrected, for every complaint or two, there would be a JM apologist that comes into the thread and tries to explain how all of the complaints are illegitimate followed by some stats that mean very little.
For me at this point, it's come down to the thing that matters the most: Winning! Until he starts winning the big games these complaints will continue, justifiably!
He’s won 2/3 of what are arguably the biggest games he’s played in as a starter for us.Thanks Earle.

And single-handedly cost us games against Texas, Michigan, and Tennessee. 2 of those were games we absolutely HAD to win. Gotta take the bad with the good. He’s won 2/3 of what are arguably the biggest games he’s played in as a starter for us.

He touches the ball on every play. Good or bad, right or wrong, he’s responsible for a whole lot of the offense stalling out.We take the good with the bad.
He‘s not great,and he’s not terrible.
He’s simply not a good as the many great QBs we’ve had in the last 15 years.
That doesn’t make him an incompetent bum.
You honestly believe that he is the only reason we lost those games you mention…100% his fault and no one else shares any blame? Seriously?
https://www.winsipedia.com/games/lsu/vs/alabamaI keep coming up with 60 total wins vs LSU when I add the wins by decade. Am I missing something? And wouldn’t we have had 11 games vs LSU in the 2010s?
Is he 100% responsible for the wins since he is the only player to touch the ball every play?He touches the ball on every play. Good or bad, right or wrong, he’s responsible for a whole lot of the offense stalling out.
Can you name another offensive player with more missed assignments than Jalen Milroe?
Those specific games, yes. He turned the ball over in all 3 games at horrible times. These weren’t fluke interceptions either. He threw the ball directly to the other team each time, and fumbled it against Michigan when we were about to put the game away. He has won us some games too, namely LSU last year and UGA this year.We take the good with the bad.

Based on what though? Or do you mean “hope”?I really think the Bye week helped the team a lot. They had momentum going into Bye week and Offense looked much better in 2nd half. I'm hoping they found the swag in the offense during bye week, and correct some stuff. Milroe should be more rested and healed up , so he should be close to 90 percent by LSU game. I think Defense is going to even be more improved than last week and I think they will create lot of issues for LSU.
What I really want to see is growth of the offense.
