Do you guys want an irony?

Remember the mention of Will Collier? Well look at this FROM HIS OWN BLOG last month

From al.com:

FBI agents swept across Alabama this morning arresting state lawmakers and lobbyists as part of a federal probe into efforts to pass gambling legislation last spring.

The biggest name arrested so far has been VictoryLand owner Milton McGregor, who was arrested at his Montgomery home this morning.

Also arrested today have been state senators Jim Preuitt, R-Talladega, Quinton Ross, D-Montgomery, Larry Means, D-Attalla, Harri Anne Smith, I-Slocomb and Montgomery lobbyist Jerrod Massey.

END LINK QUOTE

Btw - note how in there that he tries to slam Bear Bryant, Jr. so subtly. Is there nothing these folks won't do?

And that is why this is moving so fast.

Surely a dirty Bammer altered this description of the Red Elephant Club, for its powers and atrocities are only lightly mentioned in this post:

REC – Red Elephant Club - UA Athletics contribution Vehicle and Booster Club. Not confirmed, but also rumored to have overthrown the FreeMasons, the Illuminati, The US Federal Reserve Bank, The 7 Jewish Bankers controlling the world’s economy, as well as keeping the commitment of a 6:30am Friday tee time at Augusta National with Pope Benedict XVI

Wow ... I just read the post. Though it's usually never as bad as "message board land" makes it out to be, this could potentially be nuclear winter for the Barn.

Super-crooked AU booster with deep ties to Bobby Lowder + 13 months of FBI wiretaps = very, very interesting

FWIW, the posts in the past by W&L have been money. I recall reading his insistance that Saban was coming to Alabama even admist the RichRod debacle, etc. Reading that from him, along with Earle's subtle hints, I have to think this is the real deal this time...

W&L is the apostle over on BOL. they have a lot of "insiders" over there.
some are pretty good with recruiting information, etc.
many have come out in the last week or so with a bunch of Camgate information.
BUT when W&L wrote his piece regarding Cam and auburn, everybody and I mean everybody took noticed!! according to many posters on BOL, he is rarely wrong. bottom line, with that said and Earl's background on stuff like this, its a matter of when NOT if Camgate and auburn will face the music...:rolleye2:

I'm not sure how much they'll be able to get away with since this has become a federal case.

If this is as as all-encompassing as the poster suggests, I think there will be a cover up to protect certain parties. In other words, in an attempt to protect the SEC and certain aspects of college football, Auburn will end up skateing in the process.

LOTS and LOTS of money.

It has been my thought all along that Auburn knows that they are going to have to forfeit the wins this season anyway, so they might as well keep playing Cam. I for one hope that Cam plays next Friday and we take them down at full strength.

For a moment lets just forget all the evidence presented and talk about common sense.

1. Auburn signs a top 3 recruiting class by a new coach with no history of winning. A miracle.

2. Major signees include several high profile recruits that abruptly change to Auburn from another long time favorite school.

3. 2011 recruiting class is largely back to 25th in the ratings because the heat is on big time.

4. How does Cecil Newton all of a sudden become financially well set and his business starts to grow during a slow economy. Did Cecil become an astute business man in 30 days.

5. Cecil asks for money from MSU then sends his son to Auburn for nothing because of exactly why.

6. The bagmen at Auburn are still in control and do we really think they just suddenly decided to play fair with Bama signing a top 5 recruiting class every year.

The only thing I cannot explain is something that anyone that played on a football team would understand. If ATM Cards and money is being floated around to several players I can almost guarantee the entire team knows about it and every girlfriend of any player knows as well.

Trying to say the coaching staff is not aware of paying players is also absurd.

I can also state the recruiters of other schools can immediately tell if a player they have recruited has been bought by another school. Will guess several have turned in the barn.

The barn is toast. Too much smoke.

This could all be covered up. That used to happen in the day before message boards and bloggers. Hopefully, with the work of Tuna and TD.com and BOL, among others, the heat can be turned up so that people cannot look the other way.

That's why I posted it here. Spread it around. There is a pdf file that has been created for this as well. Here it is:

H/T to blueTunaTiger and the investigative reporters of the SEC Rant on TD - As The Plains Burn.pdf on FileSocial

Pass it around. Send it to reporters. I'm going to email it to Scott Van Pelt at ESPN. He reads TD.com regularly.

Turn the heat up.

I think we all knew it was just a matter of time before Lowder, Dye and their bunch of cronies got what they really deserved.

Holy poo in a box that was a long but very detailed read. It took me nearly 40 minutes with the most recent updates from last night. If you have some time, I would highly recommend reading this incredible series of events.
