Regarding King,

Its no secret that his overall favorite has been Cal (at least up until the beat down they took, but that was after the move), but according to some sources the reason he and his family chose to play HS football is that he has family there. I don't think its really a permanent move or that his recruitment is over. But no doubt it can't hurt Oregon. It'll be interesting to see if reports about him following Keenan is true

I agree that Oregon might have a better shot now that King has moved to Eugene, but he is not a lock. If so why hasn't he already commited to them and end his recruiting. We get Allen, and if King comes with him a nice bonus.

A website report last week stated ATH Keenan Allen (6-3 205) of Greensboro, NC was about to commit to Alabama. Allen may eventually end up with the Tide, but his father says he's not ready to do so just yet. "One minute it's Alabama, the next minute Clemson, then it's Oregon," Scott Lang said. "He hasn't really lined up any visits. We'll definitely go to Alabama, and Clemson isn't that far away. And maybe we'll get out to Oregon. It's getting close (a decision) but there's nothing finalized." Allen has been attracting double and triple coverage at receiver and his coach, Johnny Roscoe, recently moved him to quarterback. He threw two touchdown passes last week. Allen also plays safety and is around 100 tackles.

If Clemson is our competition I am not worried at all. Even V Beasley looks to be decommiting from them and possibly will end up at the Barn. With the trouble in house with staff I would watch to see if a coaching change isn't around the corner at Clemson.
