If you could stomach watching the Kristi Malzhan interview, she said in the interview iirc, that Dyer had an attitude. tifwiw? Ironically, she also loved Cam. But, that interview may answer your question about Dyer.
dont read into that. i've met, and sat with Dyer at some high school games. he's a good kid. nothing like a lot of the other players

Yeah, I just edited my post to say the Malzhan's attitude toward Dyer. I don't know the kid I just put 2 and 2 together from KM's disrespect of him in that interview that something was amiss in that relationship.

There is definitely some heavy criticism (to put it mildly) with both co-ordinators (and to a lesser degree with Chizik) right now on a couple of different boards, and it's been building since about mid-season.

The biggest thing I see with *ubarn is lack of player development particularly at the qb position but all around really. Malzahn stubbornly refuses to put the ball in his best players hands (Dyer) and work the offense around him. It just comes off as an ego thing and as a result has been exposed as a play-caller.
Didnt Malzahn do this same thing at Arkysaw? He had D'Mac and Felix Jones and wanted to run this highschool smoke and mirror offense? Didnt that cause the rift between him and Nutt in the first place?

Oops, didn't read the whole thing. He is a jerk.
That's putting it mildly. Trooper Taylor has been cheating forever. He was at UcheaT during the height of their decadence. Not only does he pay players to play for him, he seems to actively seek out thugs. He tried to start a fight with a Bama fan in Bryant-Denny after the 2005 6-3 Bama victory (sometimes called "Rocky Block.") Just watching him stand on the sidelines waving that ridiculous towel disgusts me.

With trooper as QB coach just how do or can anyone expect player development?
Assistant head coach and QB coach, right? What does he have on the barners???

I wonder if any of this years commitments to the barn are having second thoughts yet? This level of incompetence should be having some effect in that arena. I know one thing, I feel pretty good today, how about everyone else? The sad thing is, now I have to wait about six weeks (unless the BCS dictates a shorter time frame by having someone else face LSU) before I get another BAMA fix. Roll Tide, Roll!:BigA:

Though he may have an official title, Trooper was not brought in to be an 'on the field' coach--he was brought in by Pat Dye/Bobby Lowder because he is perceived to be a 'black player's coach' and would do whatever it takes to get players--even if it includes playing fast and loose with the rules. I firmly believe that is the only reason he is there.

Well I for one think their player development has suffered every year under Gene. Tubberville left him some experienced guys on the offensive line and on defense. Add in Cam who, paid for or not, is one of the greatest players of this generation, and you've got a darn near unstoppable offense. They had just enough on defense. They truly did catch lightning in a bottle last year.

Dyer probably sees that twit, Kristi Malzhan for exactly what she is...a 2-bit skank. I would have an attitude with her, too. GAG.

Did Trotter even go in the game yesterday? After it was over, we were talking about that. With Mosely and Frazier struggling, why wouldn't Malzahn at least put Trotter in to see if he could do better? He sure couldn't have done much worse.
I saw AJ talking to Trotter after the game.

I've seen Aubs say that they want a new OC, DC and players that are SEC caliber. What happened to all those 5* players? Those Top 3 recruiting classes? I thought they knew this was going to be a down year. Or is it a hard pill to swallow because of the fashion of the losses (and some of the wins)?

This is nothing new. Every loss they are slamming someone. They wouldn't be the barners without doing it!
Guys, we had people on this board who were saying that Saban needed to go after the three point overtime loss to LSU. All fanbases have some crazies. I mean, Coach Saban has been in the national title hunt at the end of the regular season in three of his five seasons as head coach. You can't get much better than that. Again, all fanbases have some crazies, but I can certainly understand their fanbase being a little ticked this season since they have been crushed in their losses. Then again, many people didn't think they would win seven games. Most AU grads/fans that I talk with only expected 6-6 or 7-5 this year, but they are all disappointed in how they lost their five games. I can't blame them for that. Even Coach Shula kept us in most ballgames.

Would have been real sweet had $cam been on the sidelines.
I'm glad we didn't let up and I'm glad we went for 2 and I'm glad we let the 3rd string rb (who would probably be 1st string most anywhere else) score a touchdown. Of course we all know $cam don't care about anyone but himself and Pimp Daddy Cecil.

Most of the Barn fans I know expected the type of year they had. The biggest problem for them is they lost to us 42-14 on their home turf. I think most of them felt like Bama was going to win, just not dominate like they did. I for one hope they do not make any changes I would love to see all the Dye clowns hang around for several more years.

The only complaining I've heard has been about Roof. That's been going on since his first season. But, losing big games does bring out the whiner in some people.
*Either you don't get out much, or you're just talking smack.
I think the latter.

*Most everybody that was "all-out" could see this coming long before yesterday's game.
The boogers winning the BCSCG last year bought cheezezit and co. another year or two, which will only make things.............better!

*I think Banker Bo will be glad to pay back the family for their "generosity" to him and his (real) family. You know, he sure has been hanging around the program a lot more the last couple of years.
I wonder what has changed besides him becoming a "banker"?
