This is a stretch! I guess they can say that but only one title to show for it. Three to Bama's two seasons, but we have four titles to their one and it's continually growing.
Since 2005, they have fewer undefeated seasons than Boise State. Since 2004, they have as many as Utah. And in 1993, they went unbeaten but didn't even win the SEC.
Look, if they can cite stats that don't tell the whole story, so can I.
In the last 23 years, they have a whopping 2 SEC titles. Florida has eight, which is all the more shocking when you take into account the Gators FIRST SEC title was not until 1991.
Since 1990, they have as many head coaches as we do, which is amazing given that our fan base is supposedly so delusional. And at least we can blame 4 of those on sanctions; they can only blame one.

ITAT is always good for a laugh for those who are amused by petty hypocrisy.

The one that gets me is they turn on coaches quick. For example when tubbs was on his streak against us they were die hard for him, and even after his dismissal they were but when chizik won d natty it's quickly turns into tubberville wasn't taking us any where yet if u really look at it d 04 barn team was 10 times better than d one that won d natty. They also whine about Brandon cox and Jason Campbell all through their career yet they were the most successful qbs n auburn history. These people r a bunch of bandwagoners if u ask me
i follow one Aurbren board just for laughs. what is sad is how some Aurbren fans refuse to count our BCS title vs LSU as a national championship. as if that makes it fact..it's like a forum full of 12 year olds. do they realize that Bama has more national championships in the last 4 years than they do in history?
I used to post on a sports board for the Atlanta Braves that had a poster that had aguy whose screen name had some Barn reference and he had a Barn avatar. There was a board on there for non-Braves sports talk. This was during the Tubby era, so he was always posting their accomplishments and crowing about beating us. I started a thread after the gymnastics team beat the Barn for the 100th straight time to congratulate them. He got all indignant and said it was dumb for me to do that because he could bring up all their swimming titles if he wanted to. I asked why he didn't and suggested he change his name from AubieFan to Aubiefootballandmen'sbasketballFan since those were the only sports he deemed important.
He then went on a rant poking fun at the gymnastics team for wearing pink in the last meet. (It was the week Patterson does her breast cancer fund raiser). That was really weird. I wonder if he thought it was weird they raised money for trees.
No, I didn't get as excited for the golf team as I did after the Notre Dame game. But I am still proud when any of our teams succeed.
There's an interesting thread on there now about how poor their academic recruitment is. Some of them really got into it with a kid whose dad is an alum, but he's going to Berry to study animal science because Berry offered him a full ride and AU only half, and half of out of state tuition at that. There's a follow on thread addressed to the kid. I've never seen so many of them actually sounding rational...
When AU is doing well they can fill their stadium. When they aren't attendance drops.
On the other hand while Bama was in the doldrums fan interest increased, which is why we've had to expand the stadium multiple times.
i will be glad once we beat them the next 4 years so that we have a winning record against them since 2000 which those idiots consider the 'modern' era...
Auburn was shutout in 11 of those games. 47-0, 41-0, 54-0 are some crazy scores for a Vandy team no matter how long ago haha

As unrealistic as most of them are there are some who make sensible posts occasionally but it is mostly the normal stuff...moral excellence...crowing about how great they are academically...all their fans are AU grads (and ours are "sidewalk" fans) and topic like this one...etc, etc....
But if you want to see "little brother syndrome" in its purest form join up and enjoy!
