The hat thread was shivering way back on page 6, so I invited it up here to the toasty warmth at the top of page 1. Hope y'all don't mind.

Ninety seven pages about HATS? WOW! Propably nobody will even see this, but I was wondering where to get a cap with the round Bama logo on it. I don't think I've ever even seen one like that.

I liked the old logo as well and am not too partial towards the new logo with the elephant. I do really like the new logo with the script A in the circle. That logo looks great at mid-field. As much as I like the old logo, it would look silly at mid-field.

Agreed, I think the newer logo looks cartoonish. I really like the script A, and that hat looks pretty good too, with the circle logo. I think my favorite is the solid crimson fitted hat with the white script A on it.

I'm not positive, but I am 99.9% sure the U has dropped the elephant logo as an official logo and going either with the solo Script A or the Script A in the Circle as the two approved logos for apparel and merchandise going forward.

So you may see some "Angy Elephant" items out there but as they move to get re-licensed those will leave the market.

Hey Guys,

Any sources for Bear's Navy/White plaid fedora?
This is the hat I remember him wearing most...Not to take anything away from
the houndstooth version.
