My few thoughts:
Kiffin just held a classon how you run a pick play.I hope Brian Kelly was watching the game.

Brandon Greene- Genius... Love that play. No one was expecting that.

Kiffin was trying little too hard on fade routes to Cooper, But I can see why he would do that... The way I looked at it, This game should've been 34-14 based on our playcalling, but Our players, especially Cooper kept dropping balls all night long. Sims didn't look comfortable tonight... This should've been better game, but I'm proud of our team for not giving up.

Did anyone noticed that our players werent' "loose, jumping around" until the 4th quarter drive to set up field goal? I think the team need to do better job of their energy... because what we saw in OT, wasn't what we saw in 4 quarters. We didn't let the horses run.. we let the horses gallop with no urgency. I think the players realized that and it's hard to sustain that coming off bye week. I thnk we'll be much better next week.

Game ball goes to Griffith and White.

Got back from a wedding about a couple of hours ago. I know, I know the rules about weddings during the football season, I get it, but this cousin of mine is as close to me as a brother and I promise him I would go and not pay attention to the game. And guess, I had a lot of fun at the wedding, so much that I actually forgot about the game till I got home. If it was anybody else I would not have gone to the wedding, but my cousin and I are best friends and this was his first marriage.

With that said, thank god did I miss what I call an “antacid” game. I won’t say much because I think it’s already been said but jeez who shot Rueben Foster out of a cannon? After that hit, I was ready to suit and play. My words, NOW THAT’S A HIT.
After reading the post-game thread, I think I will break my custom of reading GDT after the game and bypass this week. I really don’t want to think little of some of my Bama brethren. Suffice to say, I’ve learn do not give up on your team till the clock reads 0:00. That’s all I am going to say about that.

You take the good, you take the bad, you take the pretty, and you take the ugly, but you take all wins.
Tiring day but I glad the good guys who wear crimson and white, won the fight.

LSU 84………….NOT COOL, bro.

And.......

Auburn with the “Butt fumble”? (TY Tidefans for making that an Auburn thing now, that’s….awesome to use with some AU’s fan around my neck of the woods.

Watching the ending. Can't believe we fumbled it by their goal line with 1:13 left in the game...and we came back to win.
And still had a full complement of timeouts that deep into the game (yes, say that again - all the Tide's timeouts still in hand - given the "communications" misfires everywhere 'Bama's played)...and rallied around Yeldon defensively unlike what came after Drake' injury...and were rallied by Blake Sims running and passing with lapidary precision on what the 'Whos were giving him. And found their way and (their identity) in overtime and the play immediately preceding it (the Reuben sandwich with "everything" on it) to make Death Valley the place where Saban's teams put them corndog dreams to sleep - as in euthanizing or maybe better 'Who-thanizing them...

Good mornin', 'Bama! and enjoy the next 18 hours before it's Mitttippi Tate and another playoff game in the crosshairs.

I will confess that for the first time in history, I basically gave up. I did not at any time criticize the team or anything. But the way LSU was playing - blowing us off the line like I haven't seen in who knows when - and how listless our offense was - I figured they'd plow right into the end zone and put a seven spot on us.

When the penalty moved them back 15, I did say it "could" get interesting at that point.

But if we win it all this year, I guess we need to invite LSU's kicker and the dude who got the penalty called on him to the parade. Without them we wouldn't have won.

So yes - for the first time in my life, I did give up on the Tide. But look how little time was left and how much better they had looked before judging me too harshly.
Not sure what "giving up" even means here. I watched to the end. I had hope that we were going to pull it off even before we got the pass down to Jones and White to set up the FG try. Still a few drives before that when LSU was pounding our line and on offense we were constantly going three and out, there was no evidence we were going to get down there and score. The only thing I think we did wrong all game was not calling nearly enough running plays. The fumble was pretty frustrating. Calling those things out is not negativity but just one fan's view of the facts. Nothing wrong with that as long as you're not insulting. I don't think any fans should be called out for that. That's just silly. True fans are going to voice their opinions reasonably. Yes, even during a game thread! Heck, even CNS said we did not play our best game. But, calling for Sims and/or Griffith to be replaced, I thought was too much. These guys give us our best chance to win whether you like to believe it or not.

It takes a team to win...but JK Scott deserves some special recognition. He absolutely flips the field. Without him, I'm not sure we win the Arkansas or LSU games. Way to go Scott!!

I am also one who rarely visits during the game and am glad I chose to not visit last night. That was one of those very intense games that put us all on an emotional roller coaster. I'm just glad my blood pressure meds work so well. Otherwise I would likely have had to make a trip to the ER. But this is SEC football, and it's what we live for.

The added bonus to this is the literal meltdown by Barn fans after the game last night. After they literally gave one away to TAMU, the only possible way to salvage the weekend was a Bama loss to the Corndogs. It didn't happen and it ripped their hearts out.
