Couldn't resist a quick trip over to Tigger Droppings - some Butt-Hurt-Whinathon going on over there about PI not called, refs, cheating etc. I think LSU showed they are a tough bunch last night ... not sure the Corn Dog Nation deserves them after reading their hangover scrawl.

Their doubts and tears are delicious...

What's funny in reading that is that some of us know EXACTLY what that guy is describing feels like. We are to the LSU tigers what CSS Fla Gators were to us in the 90's.

We got the upper hand a couple times in '92 and '99 but man did they absolutely destroy at least 3-4 other seasons we would have won SEC Titles IF they just didn't exist. I'll Never forget that '94 SECCG where Barker's shoulder was tore up and we were trying to comeback to win with a FG. That's my most brutal loss ever.

So yeah for them IF we just didn't exist they would be racking up trophies this decade. But we DO exist.....and we take what they want.....and it feels Gooooooooooooood. ;)

I've said several times over the last few years - if CNS had not come to Bama, Les would most likely be considered what Saban is considered now - untouchably good. He would almost certainly have won at least two more titles, possibly more. No telling what kind of machine LSU would be if not for the brutal Saban / Bama combo...

The likes don't seem to be working, so I heartily agree! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Siap. Just got home from the long journey from BR. For those that were not there, it is worth noting that the public address announcer said on numerous occasions after the LSU field goal....."do not rush the field". I repeat... I remember at least three times he said it. Not sure if that had been said. The fans were exuberant and completely spazzing out with joy. It was about that time that an elderly man made it a point to walk over and hurled some expletives with his fist pointed at me and my son and there was a general celebration going on...dancing..pointing at me. Mind you....I never said anything the whole game. In a matter of one minute, all off that went away. I am still surprised that with no time outs we drove the field. But to go from that emotional high to losing in a matter of a few minutes was more than some could bear. I told my son we would celebrate when we got back to the hotel room but it would be wise to just not smile, not make eye contact, etc. Some LSU fans had to be restrained where I was seated after that final fourth down play. I am glad I went but wow....that was as intense as it gets and I have been to a lot of games. Most LSU fans really thought before this game that they would win and were quite confident even though the point spread said otherwise. That and the utter disdain for Nick and bitter hatred made this win feel all the better for me even though I had to delay my celebration.

I really think cam Cameron has been exposed over and over, but he is more of what people think Lane kiffin is than people are willing to admit. Now granted I don't think Anthony Jennings is worth a flip, and despite what Gary said I don't think he would've converted that fourth down with his legs with Landon spying him the whole way, but why Cameron called 4 passes when he was running it at will against our defense is just lunacy unless he thought he had mettenberger still. Looking back at it now I think if he had ran it on the first few plays we would've probably went to 3 ots and it's anybody's guess who would've won, but to put that much pressure on a struggling mediocre qb is just stupid. Now on the flip side of the ball I can't remember aside from the ole miss game when the last time a chavis defense stopped a due or die drive against a great team. I really think lsu's downfall in the last four games has been their coordinators not being clutch, but ironically the last two trips to Death Valley it has been our offensive play calling that has kept lsu in the game. Idk but the west will be pretty much decided next week so we need to correct our selves and beat the dawgs.rtr
