Schedule was back loaded. We are finding out/will continue to find out about this club in the final 4 weeks of the year when we play the conferences elite.

At South Car. 1-2
Vs Fla. 0-3
At LSU
Vs MSU

I guess you could argue next season will be our most talented team, but we could fall totally off the map these next few weeks unless we buckle down

13-11, after once sitting 12-6. I'm guessing the best we will finish is 15-15, which is again clearly below the conferences elite, with what could be our most talented team in years

I agree that the last game of the UT series was more than likely our undoing. Seems like we have been all but uninspired since then. Ironically that is when our pitching started to fall off. I think we can all agree that offensively we haven't been a juggernaut in years. We had surprises this year, but from here on our the competition gets worlds harder and from an offensive standpoint we will have to scrap for runs and cannot miss any when we have the opportunity to get them home.
As far as my whole sale change comment, I have been a supporter of Gaspard and Company, but it seems that his teams always hit the skids right at the wrong time. This teams seems no different. We go from possibly being a national seed, to now possibly being a 3 seed somewhere depending on how we finish this season out. With that in mind, we would draw some national seeds #1 or no worse their #2 with would be extremely hard for us to overcome. jmho
I will continue to pull for us no matter who the coach is and no matter the record!

I said you could argue. Depends what the draft takes but could have a lot of the meaningful players return if the opt too. I realize unlikely and I agree time to win is now

My point on schedule is that team isn't as good as we thought. Schedule has set up extremely favorably for Bama. We played one legit non conference team and were swept. We are now in the midst of playing the true powers of the SEC and getting handled as well.

I too am for a change if we slow poke to the end of the season. Win two in hoover before being bounced and go 1-2 in a Tallahassee regional

At this point I don't see us winning 2 in Hoover. I think you hit it on the head with the Tallahassee regional too.

Here is another thing to consider: Will the NCAA take a team that is below .500 in its conference? It seems that the NCAA made a big deal about that in the past couple of years. We are 13-11 right now. If we get swept at LSU (a distinct possibility with our inability to score runs against good teams) and then manage to win 2 of 3 against State (not a guarantee by any means), we end the regular season at 15-15. If we don't then win at least 2 in Hoover, we finish below .500 in conference for the year. Would we get left out under those circumstances? I don't know but it is certainly possible. I hope not because I think this team has done enough to deserve to play in a regional somewhere.

I ordinarily don't start looking toward next year until after the season is done, but ptide12 has made me think about it. He is right. In all liklihood, Turnbull, Kamplain and Keller will get drafted high enough to go pro. Tucker Hawley is a senior and will also be gone. From the offense we lose Austen Smith and there is a good chance that Ben Moore will be drafted high enough to leave as well. If so, we lose our top two hitters based on most statistical categories. While we will have some good players coming back, the loss of these 6 would be huge.

Unless we tank it from here on out I think our rpi will get us in. Now if we end up 14-16 and then 0-2 in Hoover I think we might get left out and in all honesty it would probably be deservedly so at that point.

We are trying our hardest to play ourselves out of a regional. I can not remember a team that swings the bats as bad as these guys do. If we do get into a regional we are two and done likewise next week at Hoover.

So we dropped another series at home lose 1-0 we got the leadoff man on first in the 9th and left him right there. Man I would hate to be a pitcher on this team. I hope we consider some serious changes after this year seasons like this are happing way to much.

Team has now lost 5 consecutive home conference games against good but not great teams. And 9 out if the last 11 SEC games. Better get one more win somewhere just to make a regional. Team has not played with the same intensity since that meltdown in Knoxville. Hope the powers that be really consider a coaching change to go along with the 35 million dollar new stadium.

Yep but my point is when you put a good product out there the Bama Nation supports it. I remember setting a record against Mississippi State after A-Day one year, but even then Wells was putting out decent teams and we came. It was full for the UNC Super Regional too. With Gaspard doing things like this it is not helping them.

IMHO we need to make a big hire with the new stadium coming, I guarantee you people will fill it up.
