I liked how he had two types of throws. Hard and super hard. No fineness man. If we had only recruited receivers that could have caught those balls, he would never have had those passes picked off.

It amazes me how many "all american" QB's we've signed over the years that didn't pan out. Vince Sutton, Billy Ray, Jeff Dunn, Freddie Kitchens, Tyler Watts, and even Brodie never lived up to the hype although he came in at the worst possible time. I really would have liked to have saw what Brodie could have done had he came at a different time.

My favorite QB at Bama was Tyler Watts. He was tough as nails, wasn't afraid to get popped, and was probably stronger than most of his O-Linemen blocking for him which makes Defensive dudes like me actually like a QB. However, this thread is about the best QB ever at Bama and that award has to go to Namath.
