The fact you can be banned from competing for taking testosterone, and not for being taller than your peers should tell you something.
HGH, Human Growth Hormone which can make you taller than peers has been banned by the IOC since 1989. That should tell you something

Keep asking the same question, I’ll provide the same answer. She has elevated levels of testosterone for her competing class. End of story.
again, you say this as if you know it to be true you absolutely do not. But hey why should we let facts confuse your feelings

“It’s not the modern-day Olympics. It’s the modern-day Gladiator,” says fitness expert Jillian Michaels about a competition that will allow athletes to use certain performance-enhancing drugs under strict supervision. Michaels tells “Dan Abrams Live” she always worries about the health of athletes and is not a fan.

Christians, you are losing your witness and your credibility as a Jesus follower if you have spread or are continuing to spread misinformation and outrage about Algerian boxer Imane Khalif. I’ve seen your posts, and sadly, even from my own church members and friends.

Imane Khalif is a biological woman. She was born female. Her birth marker states female. She naturally has female genitalia. She has never identified as a man. Khalif has a genetic disorder, possessing XY chromosomes, but she is not transgender. It is in fact illegal to be transgender in Algeria and they would not have sent a transgender person to compete in the Olympics. She is a she and has always been a she.

This does not even give her a competitive edge. In fact, her international competition record was 8-5, meaning five other women have defeated her in the ring. Her Italian competitor, Angela Carini, made it clear during her press conference that she did not quit because she believed Khalif was a transgender woman, but because she was not prepared for that fight and realized it after being hit in the face. She further stated that she would embrace Khalif when she sees her again and feels very badly that outrage is being wrongly directed towards her.

My friends, when will we stop reacting to memes and posts from political influencers and online “news sources” without even taking a moment to verify their accuracy. Are we so distanced in our walk with Jesus that we can no longer see the model and example for life He is displaying for us?

When you made your post condemning Khalif, did you first personally verify the accuracy, or more importantly, take pause and ask, if Jesus were sitting beside me in this moment would He approve of what I am about to share for the world to see?

Where is our witness? Where is our love? If you want to know why church pews are emptying, look no further than inward.

kind of cute that he thinks they care about actual Jesus (and yes even I do believe he existed) they don't. They love Republican Jesus. Republican Jesus is fine with the attacks on Imane

Why it matters: Human biology is complex, and transgender advocates have long warned that transphobia and a constant stream of online misinformation will also harm cisgendered men and women who don't comport to perceived societal norms about identity.
  • The IBA offered no specifics, and there is no publicly available data to suggest Khelif is transgender or intersex. However, some women have naturally higher levels of testosterone.
  • The IBA condemned their inclusion, saying it will "never support any boxing bouts between the genders," implying Khelif and Lin are biologically male without any evidence.

Logan Paul Admits to ‘Spreading Misinformation’ After Making Controversial Remarks About Olympic Boxer Imane Khelif

Logan Paul admitted to “spreading misinformation” on social media after wrongly calling Algerian Olympic boxer Imane Khelif a man in a since-deleted X/Twitter post.
Paul’s initial post prompted numerous comments calling him out for misinforming his followers about Khelif’s gender. The internet personality then issued a new statement, which read, “OOPSIES. I might be guilty of spreading misinformation along with the entirety of this app.”
Still more of an admission of wrong than we'll get from anyone here.

One day I hope we understand that gender and sex are not binary, and they never have, nor will ever be binary. What is binary is what you as a person accepts as male or female. What is not binary is the genetic variations of people and how they develop to show or not show male or female traits.

The "sex chromosomes" aren't just where sex characteristics are held, but they are typically associated with sex. There's a lot more in that gene set than just your genitals. As scientists know well, there are YY males and XX males, XY females. Then there are a host of rare genetic conditions like:

...the genetic signature for a person with 46 chromosomes is either 46,XY (males), or 46,XX (females).

Any variation from these typical numbers is referred to scientifically as an “aneuploidy.” If there is one additional X or Y, it is known as a “trisomy” (“tri” denoting the number 3). Genetic conditions that reflect a trisomy include:

Trisomies are the most common X and Y aneuploid conditions. Less common are “tetrasomies,” which denote the presence of four sex chromosomes:

Still rarer are the “pentasomies,” indicating five sex chromosomes:

How all this turn out in for Olympians, I can't say, but there are a lot of rare genetic athletes in the Olympics, both on the sex chromosomes side and everywhere else that gives them an edge. Where do we think the term "genetic freak" that is associated with physical excellence comes from anyway?

That is very well written and very true. I won't go into my dialogue because he's said it about as good or better than I can. I just wanted to state it was very well thought out and written.

The point that every genetic male is superior to every female has never been asserted by me. In general though it is a fact that in most sports the top female athlete in the world is incapable of outperforming males that are not among the top overall male athletes in the world.
It is like that in the general population aka recreational sports as well, whether people like it or not. A prime example was last night at one of my son's karate lessons. They grapple during their Tuesday lessons and he gets stuck with one of the girls and for almost a full hour it was a complete waste of his time, my time, and my money. He got NOTHING out of that session because she couldn't compete with him or give him any form of competition. But lord forbid you say anything because you're looked at like a misogynist.

Unfortunately, if he gets stuck with her again I am going to say something because I pay for him to get better at the discipline, not sit there for an hour and get nothing out of it because no one has the rocks to say the girl doesn't belong in that class. I've had to be the jackass before, so I may have to be one again.
