I think Hoke is gone...they just haven't announced it yet. I am really surprised they even hired him. The guy had 1 good year at Ball State and 1 decent year at Sand Diego St. Normally when you hire a guy from smaller schools they have had sustained success. I think Michigan overrated Hoke big time!

I was about to post the same thing - this was about his "personality". His act wore too thin, even with the wins. Sometimes winning isn't enough, even in this era.

Hoke is definitely gone it's just a matter of when. Pellini's problem was not that they were 9-3 it's that they were not close to competing with the best of the Big 10. I think the two embarrassments at the hands of Wisconsin did him in.

The last time Neb fired a HC for winning nine games per year they tanked big time and it took going thru a couple of duds to recover.
