I know we won’t have a lot of discussion here. But if anyone saw the two free kicks from Declan Rice against Real Madrid today. World class magnificent stuff.

I didn't get to watch any of the match, but I'm happy to find a thread about the Champions League.

I'd love to see Aston Villa win it, but that's not happening. My slightly more realistic hope is that Harry Kane finally wins some silverware with Bayern, though I don't like their chances after losing the home leg of their tie with Inter yesterday. Right now I'd wager that it will be Arsenal and Barca in the final.

I expect Barca to win convincingly again. Villa may have a chance at home today but they have a large hill to climb.

Villa closed the gap today with a 3-2 win, but since I didn't watch, I'm not sure how much of that was just Barca not wanting to give up 4 points, and not caring about anything less.

I could only watch the highlights today.

Villa looked very good and had the last 30 minutes to draw even on aggregate with PSG but couldn't get the last goal they needed.

BVB made it interesting against Barca but an own goal cost them.

It will be interesting to watch what Real Madrid do with Ancelotti, now that they've been eliminated. Rumor is that Klopp would be interested if they decide to part ways.

What happens in the Copa del Rey final next weekend may determine his future.

Given that Arsenal eliminated Madrid 5-1 on aggregate and PSG's aggregate was 5-4 over Villa. I feel confident they'll be in the finals. And as good as Barca have looked, I've got a feeling they may be facing Inter.
