Interesting thread, this. I collect autographs, to a degree, I guess. I have a lot of CDs and things autographed, but never anything that I had to go out of my way to get, or make an artist go out of their way to give me. It was all set up beforehand, and all I had to do was get into line and get it signed. I have some of them framed and on my wall.

Don't have many Bama autographs, unfortunately. Living on the other side of the country and overseas my whole life has kind of made that hard, to a degree. My dad got Teague's autograph for me after the 93 Sugar Bowl. He was at someone's auto or hardware store in Dothan, of all places (personal contact, I think). He signed my SI commemorative issue right on the picture of him stripping the ball from Lamar Thomas. It's awesome!

And I would've loved to have gotten Corey's autograph. I've loved watching him play, and especially this year. :BigA:

Even if this isn't a barner post, and even if it is completely true, I always hate when people make these complaints. I have met Cody and he was as nice as he could be. But guess what? He doesn't owe you a thing. Maybe he was in the zone. Maybe he was worrying about the criticism he took this week. Maybe he was tired, or hurting, or sick. Maybe he had already signed a thousand autographs and just didn't feel like dealing with pushy fans at that moment. But whatever the case may be, you are not entitled to take his time, and you certainly shouldn't be blasting his character on a Bama website.

I have to totally agree with you man, although sometimes it does stink as a fan to not get the attention you are hoping for but you also have to realize that these guys get hounded everywheres they go now they are like celebrities and now that they won the NCG im sure some of them would like to just relax

When he was doing to signing at Parkway Mall a couple weeks ago, I heard he told people he felt bad for not getting everybody through, and that he would come back. Does not sound like the same guy to me as what the OP is making him out to be.
