We can analyze this game until we're blue in the face, but the bottom line is that Bama won the game. It was a classic defensive struggle between two great football programs. The Vols blinked first and Bama took advantage. My hats off to the Tide. Enjoy the win and good luck the remainder of the season.

Thanks, I just wish ya'll would get rid of Fulmer and get a new coach in there so this rivalry can start to get back to a true clean fun college rivalry. We need to bury the hatred that has cultivated in the past few years between these two programs and move on. Anger and hatred does nothing good for the soul.

I've always had a healthy dislike for UT ...

.. but it was out of respect for the history and rivalry, and not bred of hatred or anger.

Phil Fulmer, however, has turned the game and rivalry into a circus. He needs to go and Tennessee needs to restore some class at the top.

I love "Rocky Top," by the way. True college football tradition! Sorry. I've outed myself.

Binns is noted for

class in this area of Tennessee, where he is a well respected? baseball official and sports play by play man. In fact, except for his orange allegiance he would make a great BAMA fan!!!!

Fans from both schools showed lots of class before, during, and after the game. I had a great time with mixed fans after the game. Evan a few aubs were spotted in the fray.

Ours is a great rivalry that I refuse to allow Fulmer to ruin.

Roll Tide! See you in Knoxville next year.

It was a great game.

A fairly cleanly played game, which surprised some of us.

Tell Coach Fulmer NOT to be surprised at the animosity lingering about the "secret witness" stuff.

He IS a chump if he thinks we're going to forget or forgive.

Hah! I go back to Tullahoma on breaks from school...its where I grew up. Maybe Fat Phil will go back to his Fat Momma's house for Christmas. He might not have a bowl game to worry about =)

Thanks, UT played great as did Bama. It was one of those games that was we are use to see between these 2 teams. The Fullmer involvement ahs caused this series to have problems.
I know UT has more gifted athletes, both teams made mistakes, yours came at the wrong time of the game. I heard on Fullmer's show last nite that UT lost the game, Bama did not win it. Until Fullmer and Sanders change that type of thinking, they will never win another thing.
Some the mistakes he talked were not the result of UT doing anything wrong, they were the result of good hard tackling by Bama, as was some our mistakes.
It was great game, one for the ages.

tullahoma,
How can you stand to live that close to Winchester (home of Fat Phil)?

I have been around Winchester enough to know that it has a great many Bama fans there. Maybe they didn't like Fulmer even then! LOL I never met Robert Fraley(we were the same age), but he was a decent Bama qb from Winchester.
