Crimson and White game Tuesday night

Didn't see it mentioned yet that the crimson/white scrimmage is tonight. It's open to the public for free. Starts at 7 and from what I read in the paper it looks like it will be 2 games. Each are 24 minutes total, 12 minute halfs. And each game will display a different lineup. The second game should feature the starting lineup.

Wow, so0 far our freshmen look really good. The starters will play game two...cant wait.

So far, through about 12 minutes...

Coleman - Wow. He is leading just about every category.

Riley - really long. Has a great touch. He will be in lineup by the middle of season, if not sooner. His cofidence in his shot is unbelievable.

Gee - His D looks way better.

Hollinger - Better dribbler and more confidence in his shot, as well.

Davidson - Has increased his range. He is hitting lots of 15-20 footers.

Other freshmen look good, too.

Good news about Coleman, he looks pretty physically solid in pictures, that would give us a good 3 man inside rotation.

Sounds like the first half of this one was pretty sloppy.

Not really so sloppy -- pretty crisp and pretty for an X game. I can't believe how GREAT our team looks, even [esp?] the newcomers. Hope looks are not deceiving. If not, guys, we can do some damage!:biggrin:

My thoughts on the game, I got some photos too i will share soon.

Steele - unbelievable, he see's everything on the court, knows where the ball should be and works hard to get it there

Gee - Going to be a vital part if we are successful

Davidson - Looked ok tonight, shot a 3 and although I know he has the range I still shook my head when it didn't go in

Hendrix - If he plays more like he did tonight he will be watching coleman start in his place. I was really excited when I heard we had gotten Hendrix and although he has showed signs of how good he can be, it hasn't been often enough. I mean it when I say he could be watching coleman.

Hollinger - Too sloppy with the ball, creates bad situations when he makes bad passes, he too will be watching Mykal Riley.

Riley - Transfer from Texas. Played fantastic in the first game, his team scored 64 points in the first game...22 were his. He looked great tonight.

Coleman - Could make a huge impact if Hendrix falters more

Other than that, we are reallllly young

When do we play our first exhibition game ? You know , that Marathon Oil thing .

We play montevallo on Saturday at 5 in Coleman.

I'm sure Coleman has improved, But RH has done it against SEC competition. No doubt YC will help, but to suggest he can be successful at Richard's expense will not benefit our team at all. Hendrix is too good to falter.
