Yes, I have too much time on my hands today. And no, I haven't adjusted this for what I expect are positional changes under DeBoer. This is simply taking what we already had, and taking out the portal guys and whatnot, so you can track how we're doing:

If all these guys stay, I think we're going to be alright, lol. DeBoer has to be pinching himself with the talent he's going to inherent. Just wish we were a little deeper in spots (DB, Oline, Dline).

Love it! I wouldn't be surprised to see Jackson take a starting CB spot, nor to see Keeley earn a starting spot on the edge as he's the only one really big enough to play it now. Cayden Jones might also slide outside, but likely having a slightly new scheme, who knows...

Thanks...good to see the depth and that the sky is not falling.
It was comforting to see all of those guys. There are still a LOT of really good football players on that list. I hope they all still want to play for Bama. However, if they don't, they need to go where their hearts desire or where the checks are largest so Coach Deboer can find guys who do want to represent the University of Alabama. Roll Tide!

Also, like others have stated, thank you for putting this list together for us.

I'm just going to wait till spring before I even look at the roster. No telling who will leave and who will show up to play. But I am starting to think that having all the 5 star players may not alone push you to championships. Certainly you need a chunk of those game changers, but I'm thinking that in this environment you're going need some dawgs to fill in between them, players who maybe don't have a sure fire NFL career ahead but are just dawgs. guys who are actually older than 19 years old and shave regularly. You know the type I'm talking about.

What "types of guys" do you mean?
IMO - I don’t know what he meant, but I’d say guys who didn’t get the high star ratings but have the will to do what it takes to win.
History is littered with overachievers in sports, and some college coaches (I think KD is one) have the ability to develop guys that give 110 percent all the time. Being honest, you know that’s seldom the case with teams loaded with talent. We’ve watched Bama “underperform” in that regard for a few years. Nowadays, with the money, I think you’re going to see more and more of the “big money” players taking plays “off”, or maybe even games. The less talented, more driven won’t.
